Slowest Friday, I've got that one hands down...
Up all night stressing about the whole court thing on Monday...Finally crash around 10 a.m....Wake up to a phone call from Child Support Enforcement saying that Monday's hearing has been vacated because they "rotated Magistrates" and, for some reason, it has to be re-filed for this specific Magistrate's new division because he does the contempt cases...Hopefully they'll be able to pencil it in for next week, but I'm not holding my breath...
And they wonder why they get hostility from me?...They didn't give a damn who heard the lies that CSE spewed when I was held in contempt and thrown in jail for their fuck up...They don't care that this is only giving my ex more time to hide money and manipulate the situation...And they certainly don't give a shit about how the ex's bullshit affects our son...
So now we're back to the "Hurry up and wait" crap...I was going to play nice, but now it's on...

Well, the hearing was vacated because CSE wants it heard before a specific Magistrate...So I called the only person I could get on the phone this morning (after not sleeping all night again) who is the "Contempt Specialist for CSE in CO, and talk about a bitch...They're waiting to see if the asshole and his attorney will agree to differed sanctions in order to avoid a trial based on what info they have already, which is what we both hope he does...However, if he doesn't agree and plead guilty, it goes to trial which brings it's own set of fucked up issues...If it goes to trial, I have to scrounge up money to get to Denver so I can pull documents out of my storage to show his earning ability and tax issues...That's just fucking lovely since he's not paying his support and my disability benefits ended...She was adamant that I would have to produce supporting evidence of his ability to pay, what he earns, etc...That really pisses me off because she's now saying that I was the one who asked for them to file contempt, which is not true...I could have easily filed it myself for all the bullshit they're throwing at me...Yes, I demanded that enforcement actions be taken against him, but since they filed the contempt and I'm merely their witness, they really need to get their own shit together and quit trying to cost me money that I don't have...Can't get ahold of my worker out here as usual, and she knows nothing of what's going on right now...Won't give me her direct number, and their computers have been down for a week now so they "claim" they can't even deliver a message to her...
I'm pissed off, extremely tired, and sick of the bullshit with these fine folks...
The only reason I even called was to make sure that I didn't have to re-file all of the shit I've shelled out over $100.00 to file already, and I got drug into another realm of shit...They don't want to hear the truth about the asshole unless I can produce proof even though they already have it from the last hearing...
I sure wish I could have a job where I could make everyone else do my work while I make the big bucks, then bitch at them when they can't afford to be-bop halfway across the country to do it...

Ugh...what a mess. Besides me being bargain hunter when it comes to travel arrangements I could also offer to help you personally if you really need to. I understand you might not trust me and that is fine...I just want you to know that I could try and dig out what you need as I think that would be a cheaper option. Aw shucks...Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it...However, since I'm their "witness" I believe they would be responsible for my airfare, but don't quote me on that...I'm waiting to burn that bridge when we get to it...Like the biotch in CO, I think the ex will stipulate to the differed sanctions rather than risk jail because they do have the goods on him...There are 4 things that must be met by the county in order for the contempt to hold water, he has to know about the order-he does, he has to be ignoring the order-he is, he has to have the ability to pay-he does, and he has to show a history of non payment,and there is when you consider he owes close to $5K in arrears...Like I said, they were the ones who filed so that burden is on them, not me...
Know this though, nothing will ever make me trust Adams County...Their antics are all too familiar in my case, only this time they can't do shit to me...

I know I shouldn't stress so much, but I'm all too familiar with Adams County and their fucked up games in my case...Really, it's not even "stress" as much as it is me being pissed off over it all...(still better than being pissed on)
However know this, I'm not above filing for Welfare to get airfare since he's still not paying support...Do I want to?...Hell no I don't...Will I?...You bet your ass I will, and I'll tell EVERYONE involved exactly why...If they want the info I have so fucking bad, then they should be playing a bit nicer instead of coming off with their condescending attitudes about doing THEIR jobs...
This will not be over even when the hearing is said and done...I plan on taking my issues with Adams County to directly to the Courts and demanding their intervention...We'll see what happens...

Adams County CSE has had a hard on for me since 2002 because they fucked up and I went to jail over their fuck up...I called them on it, they scrambled to save face, and now they simply don't want to be bothered with me...I am a threat to them, and they don't like it...Waaa...
Believe me, if there was a way I could get my support case out of there, I'd do it in a heartbeat but I can't...
However, what I can do is make the Courts aware of their consistent need to complicate things (which was already shown to the courts in the last modification) and suggest that the Courts admonish them for acting improperly, unprofessionally, and down right stupid...
You see, the things that I'm asking for are things I'm entitled to BY LAW, and it's their job to do them...Should they continue disregarding my legal rights, as well as those of my son, I will be contacting certain groups who can put the screws to them...

Let me tell you, I've literally been run through the wringer by Adams County over the past 10 years, but I'm still alive and kicking...
They wonder why they get "hostility" from me?...Couldn't be because they've proven themselves unfair, biased, worthless, corrupt and flat out rude?...
And no, I don't trust those idiots any farther than I could throw them...They blew that one when they told my former Boss "If you give us $1,500.00 on this wage assignment, she won't go to jail"...That happened in May 2002, he gladly paid it yet, come October 2002, my little ass was tossed in the pokey and I owed far less than what the asshole owes now...And don't forget, that was one of two wage assignments THEY entered against my employers, but didn't bother collecting on...How very professional of them to serve COURT ORDERED wage assignments, then ignore them themselves...
Federal Law is what prevents the case from being moved...Under the guidelines, the case must stay in the county where it originated...I could raise 9 kinds of hell and "maybe" get it transferred out here, but I don't plan on staying here forever and frankly, I feel Adams County should be stuck in the hell of having to deal with me until the bitter end...As "sweet" as I am, I can easily turn into a demon from hell when it comes to those fine folks, and they know it...Only they have no choice but to deal with me, since it happens to be their job and they're just as stuck with it as I am...
