Glad I did not read this until today! On my commute home last night there were protesteor in fron of 9 news. Only sign I could read said..... one view is not news. I honked and riled them up! I wish I saw them everyday instead of the contruction dudes!=)

Did you see Denver's one book program chose To Kill a Mocking Bird.... I will take an excuse at a re-re-re-re-re-read!=) Kind of excited to see what happens, people chatting, etc... about it...

9 News has sunk to an all-time low...They've literally resorted to deleting pages of posts that are anti-Obama...
If folks are protesting the station, more power to them...Honk, wave, and show your support of those who are willing to call 9 News out on their bullshit...
I will be tweeting each and everyone I can at 9 News first thing in the morning, just to give them a piece of my mind on the subject...Then, I will lodge my complaints with Gannett, and every sponsor I can find...
While I don't hold 9 News to a specific standard, it's a violation of my 1st Amendment rights to restrict my speech when it's in line with their own Terms & Conditions...
Then I will come back here and speak my mind freely, while 9 News loses ratings...

With the attempts under Obongo to stifle our freedoms, I'm taking advantage while I still can...I lodge complaints daily regarding my RIGHT to free speech, regardless of anyones TOC...However, I've been extremely restrained on 9 News, since I also respect their rules...But, when they arbitrarily delete ALL comments that are against their "Chosen One", I draw the line...I assure you, what I've voiced to their sponsors is far worse than what I've posted on the site...If they don't like it, too bad...They have a choice as to whether they wish to participate in violating the rights of the users, or advising the site moderators that they should back off...

I'm still dealing with child support issues, and they come to a finite head on the 20th...He's facing contempt for non-payment, and to date he owes me over $5K in arrears alone...
If I do return, it will be at the end of Sept for sure...My family is moving to Illinois then, which is not exactly where my son and I want to be...There's no way I can afford to stay in CA, as a 2 bdrm starts at $900+ and our unemployment is at 21%...It depends on the job market in CO...Hopefully, something gives before then...I miss Colorado...

I get no money from the state, so I don't have to worry about any IOU's that aren't worth the paper they're printed on...However, Welfare recipients are being issued these IOU's and, so far, no banks are honoring them...When I worked for the Welfare Dept., if some biotches money was late due to their own bullshit, they'd be in our office, crying about "Where's my money?"...This ought to be a real pleasure for those workers...It isn't their fault, as they're likely to get the same IOU on pay day...

Thanks Iggy...I'll know more when the asshole goes to court on the 20th...He's over $5,000.00 in arrears, and the county filed contempt against him for non-payment of support...I'm not exactly holding my breath, as this particular county has a less than honest track record with my case, but I've got some pretty solid documentation that the Magistrate will just love to see...Essentially, I'm making the county eat their own words...You can't be for something in two different responses, then change your mind on court day...Not without me stirring it up...
Either way, nothing changes the fact that he owes me that money, and depending on the mood of the Magistrate, he might be forced to pay a "purge payment" in order to get out/stay out of jail...
That's where I need your thoughts and prayers...That money, along with my fall Pel Grant would set us up nicely back there...Illinois has 3 bdrm homes going for around $60 K, but I don't know how I'd do without mountains...And I'm just about over my family...

As far as moving back to CO is concerned, I'm playing it by ear until the court thing is over and I know where I stand on the issue of support...One of two things will happen since the county (Adams) is so fucking ignorant...#1 - He will go to jail and be forced into paying the "purge payment" to get out, then he will be monitored to assure he remains in compliance...Or #2 - The Courts will order an arrangement where he will have to make the monthly payments, and a portion of the arrears consistently for a period of time (likely a year) under the direct supervision of the Courts, not CSE...Should he screw up, it's directly to jail...

However, should I move back to Colorado, I will not imbibe in anything related to 9 News...I think them getting their "come uppance" by losing sponsors has been long overdue, but obviously earned...Idiots...

I have had a friend do this same thing. Guy pays now, then kept paying the back child support for an extra year and now thinks he can sue my friend. Hahahahaha. Guys are dumb.=)

I have noticed all thier copmmercials are about channel 9...it is a little annoying when you just want to watch a show and that is all you see is Kathy and Adele....
