I've said it for years, when the "Pandora's Box" disguised as "equal rights" was opened for the GLBT community, the monster that came out will not stop there...
There will be cries from the pedophiles, zoopheliacs(beastiality), necropheliacs, and every other slimy life form that engages in sexually deviant behavior...And we'll likely be hearing them very soon...

I see homosexuality and sex crimes as two completely different animals. I know this all comes down to personal beliefs at the moment, but I believe you are born either gay or straight (and I have read plenty of scientific papers to back up those beliefs) but that is between two consenting adults. The subjects of pedophilia, necorphilia, and zoophilia are not consenting adults. They can't make decisions for themselves regarding sex with an adult human being, they can't sign a contract (which is why marriage would never be legal between them anyway) and that victims are innocents being violated. This is not so with homosexuality. The two persons involved are adults that have made a mutual choice. I wasn't intending to start a homosexuality debate, but that's my.$.02.

Not to argue, but I've read plenty of scientific studies to the contrary when it comes to homosexuality...
My point is, when does this "tolerance" end?...As we all know, the minute one group is afforded something, every other group that feels left out will start bitching until they get it too...
While it is impossible to legislate morality, the question remains...

If it came down to a question of legalizing any of the other sexual "partnerships," I can say that without a shred of doubt I'd be rallying against it. Any time the is someone involved that can neither give consent or is old enough to know what that consent would mean for them, I am against it. I don't like the idea of a lot of things that happen (like swingers, for instance!) but it's all between consenting adults, so I have no problem with them partaking in those things. I would fully support a movement to block legalizing any of the others, though. If I had to donate money, time, skills. I would do it.

Is it really that much of a problem? I've never really looked into it. I though it was all jokes. I guess many jokes get their roots in reality! All I can think is how I wouldn't touch my brother or father with a ten foot pole. I wouldn't touch my uncles with an even longer pole....I don't get how someone could be romantically involved with a family member. Yuck!
