Why don't we begin with your state?

Arkansas - ranked #4 in poverty according to the 2007 census, yet your state votes red to the tune of 62%.

It might be notable to point out that your state has had voter ID laws in place for many years and the lower half of your state has one of the lowest educated, and least voter participation ratio per capita in the entire country.

Coincidence /

Me thinks not.

But what would I know about Arkansas politics.

Because we aren't panicked and freaking out about it like a bunch of chicken littles.

Calm down, take a seat, and pay attention this week and you'll see what Willard should have done last week -

You will hear a detailed plan on how we're gonna fix it.

18 states cut their welfare rolls last year, and nationally the number of people receiving cash assistance remained at or near the lowest in more than 40 years.

Well lets see in @007 the state legistature was controled by the DemoKkkrats , there were 3 members to the house of representatives and 2 senators all Demokkrats . That's how the state got in such bad shape and that's why a very blue state is not voting for O'BOTTOM.

Just so there is no chance for ron the mouse to try to lie his way out of this here is just one of his posts from topix Paragould Ar , Arkansas is where the mouse troll lives and he posts under many names , also out of Rogers Ar .

Arkansas, more than any other "southern republican state" has become moderate during the Obama term in office.

ROFLMAO!!! You really need to put down the far left wing bullshit and drink a tall glass of reality Ron.

Did you miss the 2010 elections? Going into that election, Arkansas' 2 Senators were both Democrats. Only one was up for re-election and she lost by a landslide. If the other had been up for re-election, he would have been tossed out too.

Arkansas has 4 Representatives. Before the 2010 elections, 3 were Democrats. After the election 3 are Republicans.

Arkansas will solidly support Romney in the upcoming election, just as they did McCain in 2008. No doubt about it.
So here you have the biggest liar ever to hit topix
He will be a crybaby and go to the mods to try to get this removed because the truth embarrasses him.

Both the number of unemployed persons (12.8 million) and the unemployment rate (8.3
percent) were essentially unchanged in July. Both measures have shown little movement
thus far in 2012.(See table A-1.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rate for Hispanics (10.3 percent) edged
down in July, while the rates for adult men (7.7 percent), adult women (7.5 percent),
teenagers (23.8 percent), whites (7.4 percent), and blacks (14.1 percent) showed little
or no change. The jobless rate for Asians was 6.2 percent in July (not seasonally
adjusted), little changed from a year earlier.(See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

In July, the number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) was
little changed at 5.2 million. These individuals accounted for 40.7 percent of the
unemployed.(See table A-12.)

Both the civilian labor force participation rate, at 63.7 percent, and the employment-
population ratio, at 58.4 percent, changed little in July.(See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as
involuntary part-time workers) was essentially unchanged at 8.2 million in July. These
individuals were working part time because their hours had been cut back or because
they were unable to find a full-time job.(See table A-8.) Things are grim , according to the US Department of labor .

"Grim" < ===== <<< hahahahaha

Of course things are always grim to you righties.

Why cherry pick from that report instead of linking us to the entire documentation? Could it be that you didn't want anyone to now the rest of the story? Here's the report in it's entire text which shows a better scenario than you would like to portray;

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pd...

"Survey Data"

- Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 163,000 in July.

- Employment in professional and business services increased by 49,000 in July.

- employment in food services and drinking places rose by 29,000 over the month and by 292,000 over the past 12 months.

- Manufacturing employment rose in July (+25,000), with nearly all of the increase in durable goods
manufacturing.

- Employment continued to trend up in health care in July (+12,000), with over-the-month gains in
outpatient care centers (+4,000) and in hospitals (+5,000).

- Employment also continued to trend up in wholesale trade.

- Utilities employment declined in July (-8,000). The decrease reflects 8,500 utility workers who were off
payrolls due to a labor-management dispute.

Again, rightwingers only see the "doom and gloom" in America's future. Teams who think we've lost cannot win.

LMAOFF,,You lie like Bill Clinton..

Here is the first line you edited from that very page on the very link you posted, suspiciously omitted by the poster being YOU. Im not even going to point out the rest...LOL..

Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 163,000 in July, and the unemployment rate was
essentially unchanged at 8.3 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment
rose in professional and business services, food services and drinking places, and manufacturing.

The secret is not so secret after all, many Red states are really parasites and gold-diggers when it comes to collecting Federal dollars even though they are the most vociferous about government spending.MotherJones.com posts some wonderful maps that highlight these bloodsucking states who want you to believe that they are really against expanding the government spending that they crow about. Empty vessels really do make the most noise.

MotherJones adds…”Of the 22 states that went to McCain in 2008, 86 percent received more federal spending than they paid in taxes in 2010. In contrast, 55 percent of the states that went to Obama received more federal spending than they paid in taxes. Republican states, on average, received $1.46 in federal spending for every tax dollar paid; Democratic states, on average, received $1.16.

It might be that the residents in the blue states pay much higher taxes, thus the state needs less federal money. All I know for sure is my state (Connecticut) has very high taxes. Social services are the third highest payout here. One good thing for those who collect welfare is that they can also collect from another state (mostly N.Y. and MA.) and get away with it. Those in charge here don't mind spending other people's money at all.

Here you get people getting their checks sent directly to Mexico..Most of them can live pretty high on the Javelina there and still save money to buy a house here someday...
