what a lot of people don't understand is that a cab driver has a very dangerous job, alot on his mind will he get robbed ,accidents ,can he make a difference in bad weather because he hates to see anyone freeze, drivers are abused by passengers everyday, why are we so late ,drunks wanting to fight, pedestrians think crossing in the middle of lodo is safeand then there is the drunk drivers and/or bad drivers that don't know how to drive downtown, and then there is the illegal cabs out there that the p.u.c. (public utilities commission)has yet to move on.all in all I consider cab drivers heroes as they try to get people home safely ,they cut down the dui driving they even report dui drivers that refuse to get another driver or a safer way home, may junior rest in peace and may the lord look after his family including his 2 children, I also think the state should start a hit and run task force as this is becoming an appedemic
