These idiots caused a horrible I-25 traffic jam this morning and we get no info on suspects' identities or what led to them (apparently) being under surveillance. Gang affiliation? Zilch, nada, bupkis. Colleen: you can land a job at USA Today any day.

So, if the chase ended with an innocent bystander getting hurt or killed, would the police still be blamed since they were on the recieving end of the chase?

Probably...

How do you know the suspects were not in a stolen car already?

There IS a lot more to the story, but no good officer, detective or DA would give any of that up yet. The case is still being filed and the charges must stick!!! Never compromise a case just to brag in the media.

For the entire Denver Metro Area, this is really big news. If you have ever had you SUV, truck, or custom car stolen you would understand. Auto Theft numbers in all the metro areas will really drop after this. At least until the next group comes in.

GREAT JOB TO DPD OFFICERS!!!

Thank you.

Nope, the supreme court just rulled in favor of the police in a case down south, I believe in Geogia where a bad guy ran from the police, the police pitted his car, he wrecked and he was paralized. The bad guy sued the police department for excessive force. There was an on dash camera that showed that his story didn't match his claim and he put several innocent people lives at risk during the chase.

I see that 9news is still erasing any criticism of white people and or comments but leaving the other racist comments. What a racist and truly honest station. 9news you are number 1, at defending racists.
