Now I see where you are coming from… However, I think your perspective is a little skewed. The earth is far from over populated and in fact if the human race decided to build a city like New York to fill the state of Texas it would have the capacity to hold the entire world’s population. NOTE: I am far from advocating this, and merely illustrating the size of our earth is much larger than most think man is. BUT I do see and understand that your perspective is that.
“YOU CAN ONLY BE AS FREE AS THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU WILL ALLOW YOU TO BE!!!” From my perspective freedom, as presented from our founders, comes from God. People or governments do not grant us our freedom as Americans, he have it as a universal right. That being said I don’t equate freedom with seclusion, and in America there is plenty of room if one seriously wanted to be secluded.
I am a Christian and I believe the earth and humanity is only here for a time, however, I do like the idea of colonizing other places other than this planet, however when Jesus comes He will bring us home even if we are living on Mars.
Lastly, humans will never make it to space with a green energy attitude. The power needed for space travel is NOT green energy, so therefore until government gets out of the way of free enterprise when it comes to energy, it will not happen.
BUT I am hopeful with God’s help Americans will realize our freedoms are what move and drive us forward to be great and hope the government learns to get out of our way especially at our shot for space.
I'll do the math. Texas is 268,581 square miles. 5280 X 5280 = 27,878,400 square feet X 268,581 square miles = 7,487,608,550,400.With World Population of 7 billion that a little over 1000 square feet home for each of us in Texas with NO roads, NO schools, No bodies of water, No crops, no anything.
Stake out your 31 by 31 foot plot.

Government has always help us use less energy. If not for the government we all would be driving cars that get 15 mpg tops. Replace a ten year old refrigerator with a new old save 20%. replace that 20 year old fridge save 60% in energy. Time 200 million new refrigerator we have green life off.

I would put an end to war, religionn, and all things that take energy. Then I would use that energy for survival and finding a way to move off earth into the cosmos.
Is this possible? Is it true? Can it be doe? How else would it be possible for the human race to live forever?

Time to get back to your question.

I would stop turning corn into fuel and plant millions of acres of hemp to be used to make everything from housing to fuel to food to paper to cloth.
Next every teenager that turns 18 will spend two years working for the government in the armed forces. All this cheap labor could be used to rebuild this countries failing infrastructure.Roads, bridges, power lines, water, sewage, schools all are near crisis failure levels now.

Fossil fuels are just that.No one making them any more. The real need to find another energy source before this one runs low is the right and smart thing to do. To believe that a super being will swoop in and save us is stupid at best.

The United states is pumping records amounts of oil out of the ground and big oil is laughing all the way to the bank.

Even the Koch brothers funded climate study says climate change is real and man made.

If the epa would lift air restrictions on vehicles we would have cars that would exceed 80 miles to the gallon... The problem then becomes pollution with you contend is destroying the earth!!!! Is there such a thing as a nature heating cycle? NO! It's all human caused!<sarcasm

Heaven forbid anyone make money right, socialist? So horrible! So unfair! So let the government decide what fair and what isn’t... Oh and it will be easier to control when they remove guns out of the hands of private citizens...

No one will get off this rock because of government.

O queen of half truths, in Europe (because of government) they has a few cars that get close to 80 mpg in a very small three cylinder diesel doesn't meet U.S. emissions standards and the vehicles are Ringling Bros clown sized cars.

ice ball earth to jungle earth at least three times before humans or gods came around.

If god were hanging around earth time would be relative same for god as for us living on earth.

Lol... Why don't you explain how Obama and democrats fight for the middle class by lowering their taxes... Especially with OBAMACARE. Oh wait that was a middle class tax hike. Or how they fight for the middle class with lowering what they pay in taxes for this new tax deal. Oh wait that was a hike also. How do Obama and the democrats help the middle class? Take away their guns?

Tell us please.

Easy!

Far fewer middle class families will need to file medical bankruptcy. Teen agers in collage will be covered by health insurance so when they go snow boarding and break their freaken neck they will be covered not run the whole family into bankruptcy.

Babies with down syndrome or other serious diseases will now be protected against screw you for profit insurance companies.

Obama has not done enough but I like most Americans see the real problem is congress not Obama. We need to force companies to pay taxes and close off the rest of the for rich only tax shelters.

If you add up the Americans that support Obamacare and the ones that feel it does not go far enough they have huge amount of support.

Obama rained in wall street and credit card companies.Obama froze White House salaries.

No one going to take your guns.

the good goes on and on and on.

I support freedom. Let the rich get rich let the poor get rich. Let the middle class get rich. Governments deciding who gets to keep their earning helps only the politicians get richer. Why do you strongly support government?

To start it was a government that gave us freedom in the first place.
Power grid built by government highways system build by government damns built by government space program built by government dodge saved by government twice, unemployment insurance, welfare, medicare, medicaid and social security all good safety nets from the government. That we have clean water and the safest food supply in the world is because of our government.Country came out of great depression because of our government. Our government clean our rivers and our air.all are much cleaner now then they were in the 1970's Our countries defense all the government doing. That you are free to own a gun, vote and pray to what ever god you chose is from our government.

The government should have kept us out of this last depression but were the cause of it enriching the rich is all that government did.

The same one that did NOT allow women to vote.
