Recent events find that a government institution (IRS) removed the financial resources from many Tea Party and conservative groups (by denying or holding off on granting 501c4 status), effectively removing their influence from the election process and as a result Obama won.
Two-thirds of the groups who were approved for tax-exempt status were conservative. If the IRS was on a partisan witch hunt against conservative groups, that's sure an odd way of showing it, isn't it?

Regardless, the war of ideas isn’t dead and in the upcoming midterm and later presidential elections, the democrats will have to answer to their passing of OBAMACARE, and explain why Americans are paying more for the health care.
Healthcare cost been doing nothing but go up for years. Many of them years it was double digit increases in healthcare cost.Even in a time when big companies were making record profits they were cutting healthcare and handing the Ceo's and upper management huge pay increases.

“Every new outlet but a few very conservative ones had Obama winning pretty much dead on. For conservatives, Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
I hope many republicans keep the same course through 2016 to see Hillary Clinton elected as first female president of the United States of America.” Because of the IRS this is true. Do you Deny that the IRS willfully disabled Tea Party and Conservative groups?

As for Hillary, Benghazi! She allowed four Americans to die at the hands of terrorists. She has to answer to a great deal to become president. Not very likely, however.

“Two-thirds of the groups who were approved for tax-exempt status were conservative. If the IRS was on a partisan witch hunt against conservative groups, that's sure an odd way of showing it, isn't it?” It was a dishonest democrat political strategy, let enough go through as to not raise flags but keep enough back to effect influence. Glad to see you not denying the facts.

“Healthcare cost been doing nothing but go up for years. Many of them years it was double digit increases in healthcare cost.Even in a time when big companies were making record profits they were cutting healthcare and handing the Ceo's and upper management huge pay increases.” And since OBAMACARE has passed the same has Occurred so what is your point? Next year rate will again increase by double digits and in some cases rates will DOUBLE and this is attributed to OBAMACARE. So what’s your point?

“Ask big oil the reason they keep making record profits???” EVERY ONE AND THEIR DOG WANTS CHEAP EFFICIANT energy. The first person to do produce CHEAP EFFICIANT POWER FOR HOMES AND VIHECLES with GREEN energy will make bank as well, NOT go bankrupt with public funding.

Government taking from wage earning Americans to pay for OBAMACARE, social welfare, food stamps, cell phones, and the INTERNET! LOL… I’m so kidding!
Promote:“to contribute to the growth or prosperity of”
General:“involving, applicable to, or affecting the whole”
Welfare:“the state of doing well especially in respect to good fortune, happiness, well-being, or prosperity.”
Why did you leave out,“and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity”
The constitution was written to LIMIT government and their job is to secure the blessings of LIBERTY, so we can pursue it as well our own welfare (good fortune, happiness, well-being, or prosperity.). Tell us all how OBAMACARE “secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity” for ALL Americans and say us to your side. The truth is you can’t… The Constitution is too radical for leftists. It renders and limits government powers… a HUGE hindrance for leftists.

“In America, a segment of the population is making a power play to enforce an ideology with no basis in fact,” You mean like OBAMA wen he states “Here at home, 2012 was the warmest year in our history.” A lie... But he can’t take executive action to raise energy prices on average and poor Americans and pander to the radical environmentalists without doing so. Literally a POWER play and sad that smart people like yourself fall into government power grabs.
“and as fantastic as it sounds, Republicans are purveyors of superstition and ideology that will bring about the destruction of this country as a representative democracy, and usher in an era of corporatist theocracy.” I think you perception is poor and off because since OBAMA we have increased the National debt, and future spending with OBAMACARE and “CLEAN ENERGY” expenses, effectively passing the bill along to our children, their children, and their children’s children. My evidence is pointing to America’s demise through BIG GOVERNMENT... and frankly that consists of both parties and some independents... Until more Americans like the Tea Party are willing to slap down big government it won’t change... But my guess is when Americans start getting their HUGE energy bills, and Health Care Bills they will revolt faster than you can say “Sam’s your uncle and he’s TOO BIG for his britches”.

An advertisement from the first coffeehouse in England promoted coffee as "good against sore eyes" and "excellent to prevent and cure the dropsy, gout, and scurvy." In the early 1700s, Germans believed the beverage made women sterile. An old wives' tale states that if bubbles appear in your java, you're due to come into money.Coffee will stunt stunt your growth.Just as a pot of coffee boiling over doesn't mean it's going to rain (again from those old wife tales) the assertion that the drink makes for a nation of hobbits has been proven false.
In other words all the negative talk about coffee is urban legend. No different then believing the grand canyon was cut in short order by a receding world wide flood. AKA it's stupid.

The conservative media has fueled this confusion by distorting scientific research, hyping faux-scandals, and giving voice to groups funded by industries that have a financial interest in blocking action on climate change.

The study you posted was funded by The Heartland Institute. The same Heartland Institute that worked with Philip Morris to question the link between secondhand smoke and health risks.
With that kind of past how could the media take the Heartland Institute and their upcoming climate conference seriously? Heartland could have easily played the role of the "Academy of Tobacco Studies" in the movie Thank you for Smoking.

The United States legalized abortion nationwide in 1973, in part because of the clear evidence that restrictive laws were not ending abortion but were exacting a significant public health toll, notably on lower-income women who could not travel or pay for safe services. Almost immediately afterward, pregnancy-related deaths and hospitalizations due to complications of unsafe abortion effectively ended. The United States was not the first country and has been far from the last to recognize this relationship and move to liberalize its law.

The Heavy Toll of Unsafe Abortion
In a country such as Uganda, about 300,000 abortions take place each year, notwithstanding the fact that abortion is legal only to save a woman's life. Unsafe abortion there is a leading cause of pregnancy-related death. Moreover, at current rates, half of all Ugandan women will require treatment for complications related to abortion at some point in their lives.

The fact is that almost all unsafe abortions occur in the developing world (see chart). According to the World Health Organization, unsafe abortion is the cause of 70,000 maternal deaths each year—or one in eight pregnancy-related deaths among women. That translates to seven women per hour.

This is the same government that wants to inflict energy controls upon you and all Americans and use TAX dollars to invest it inefficient energy companies that go BANKRUPT. That’s odd that they would back such studies, especially after many emails were discovered by scientists that were falsifying their data to support Human caused climate change.
Also, a survey of 76 scientists, where no one knows who or where they are from, and 70 state the BELIEVE in “manmade global warming”… Does NOT mean “97 percent of scientific studies agree on manmade global warming” Double check your data.

I do agree with you.(mostly) Your wording not so much. I would say,"As our understanding of something grows so does our way of describing it. The facts don't change it is our understand that changes.

The American Heart Association suggests buying soft, trans-fat-free spreads instead of regular butter or stick margarine.

The whole butter margarine war has more to do with big business getting you to buy their stuff over the other guys stuff then science. Science says both are not good for you.
Butter loses for having high cholesterol and saturated fat.Margarine (the tub kind) wins for having zero cholesterol, low saturated fat and zero trans fat.

The solar system has the same number of planets now as when I was a kid. We changed the definition of what makes a body in space a planet so we won't end up adding many more planets to our solar system.AKA Eris, Haumea, Makemake and Ceres would have all joined Pluto as planets if not for the change.

Walk into a room full of CO2 you won't live long.Carbon dioxide is a waste gas produced by fossil fuel combustion, so can be classified as man-made waste. One can also make the case that carbon dioxide is contaminating the environment, since increased CO2 from burning fossil fuels has already harmed sea life. Carbon dioxide, when dissolved in sea water, is deadly to shell-building microorganisms that form an important part of the food chain in some cold ocean regions. The extra CO2 lowers the pH and make the water too acidic for these organisms to build their shells

Abortion numbers go down when the economy is good and go up when the economy is bad.Nothing new abort that.

Also states are going back to abstinence only sex education.States with abstinence only sex education have the highest Teen Pregnancies rates.More teen pregnancies equals more teenagers having abortions.

Less than 2% of abortions in the United states are done after 20 weeks.A good part of them are generally limited to cases of severe fetal abnormalities or situations when the life or health of the pregnant woman is seriously threatened.

IMO all the time spent on making new abortion laws to end abortions after 20 weeks are a waste of time.

Explain why the richest country in the world has so many babies living in poverty?
