GOD'S PLAN
Admit you are a sinner.
Be willing to turn from sin and mean it.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
Read your Bible to know Christ better.
Be baptized, worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church.
Tell others about Christ.

“Jesus was talking to you! Jesus was talking to every one!” LOL… very good and that includes you, and note, not one of those verses said to push off YOUR responsibility on government to do it FOR YOU with everyone else’s earnings.

“In an attempt to keep people from becoming like you!” No, not even close… Care to take another shot?

“The Bible is a set of writings for guidance. An oracle of wisdom on how to live life. However, there is a far greater purpose for the Bible that seems to elude your understanding.

I don't know if any of you know this, but "Jesus" if there even was such an individual is dead.

He can't talk to anyone and hasn't been able to for thousands of years.

You think so? What is your evidence of you’re statement?

You do know He was risen from the dead and seen by hundreds, don’t you?

We are in the year 2014… just that fact is more evidence than your “"Jesus" if there even was such an individual” statement.

BUT they do say ignorance is bliss.

Evidently, you enjoy being ignorant. If "Jesus" was indeed alive today, he'd have been on every talk show in the world. Do you have ANY evidence whatsoever he's alive?

Thought not.

Your evidence is that He has not been on “every talk show in the world”? You watch too much Family Guy.
Jesus is in the media ALL the time. He’s in the news, topix threads, and a hit show on the History Channel.
Jesus changed and continues to change the world daily, and for you to deny that is ignorance, whether you believe in Him or not.
Did you have a choice in being born? That alone is more evidence than you can dispute of Jesus. He made you and He loves you, yet you deny Him.

Poor delusional soul, you should really read "Subliminal: How Your Unconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior" the new book by Leonard Mlodinow. Not that you'd understand it or be able to apply it to your life.

I'm afraid that is rather circumscribed by your very limited belief system.

Adieu.

LOL… I have read the book… I have heard Mlodinow speak… Are you sure you understand it and applying it to your life?

I think it’s amazing how I present you with facts (which I understand you have a very difficult time preserving them consciously or subconsciously) and you do all you can to ignore and deny them, by talking about something else or putting me down like I am some uneducated fool (I know that’s what you think of me).

Did Jesus live? History says He did, but it’s your choice to believe it or not.

Whether you have the subconscious context or not your mind works the way that it does because of Jesus. He created your conscious and subconscious mind and did so for reason and purpose which even makes Mlodinow’s studies even MORE CLEAR; Yet, you choose to deny Him consciously, however, your subconscious tells you otherwise… Free will is crud isn’t it?

I've been on vacation in Ireland.

Researched or not makes no difference. You still fall far short of your god Jesus speaking (to everyone) in Matthew 25:31-46

As ruler of earth religion would be educated out of society anyway.

Throughout history human beings have devised fairy tales to pass on traditions and superstitions to inform or frighten children and adults alike into following a certain path. It is hardly imaginable that in the 21st Century, an adult would fall for instructions based on a fairy tale, or what an imaginary being uttered as secret knowledge from religious dogma. In America, a segment of the population is making a power play to enforce an ideology with no basis in fact, and as fantastic as it sounds, Republicans are purveyors of superstition and ideology that will bring about the destruction of this country as a representative democracy, and usher in an era of corporatist theocracy.

Which is why it’s important to understand God’s plan of salvation. Until you can articulate that, you live lost, just like you’ve posted over and over.

Coffee is good for you... It’s bad for you... It will kill you... it can save your life... Science is a PROCESS and facts learned eventually change because MORE facts get learned...

But he can’t take executive action to raise energy prices on average and poor Americans and pander to the radical environmentalists without doing so. Literally a POWER play and sad that smart people like yourself fall into government power grabs.

“and as fantastic as it sounds, Republicans are purveyors of superstition and ideology that will bring about the destruction of this country as a representative democracy, and usher in an era of corporatist theocracy.” I think you perception is poor and off because since OBAMA we have increased the National debt, and future spending with OBAMACARE and “CLEAN ENERGY” expenses, effectively passing the bill along to our children, their children, and their children’s children. My evidence is pointing to America’s demise through BIG GOVERNMENT... and frankly that consists of both parties and some independents... Until more Americans like the Tea Party are willing to slap down big government it won’t change... But my guess is when Americans start getting their HUGE energy bills, and Health Care Bills they will revolt faster than you can say “Sam’s your uncle and he’s TOO BIG for his britches”.

I love the Tea Party.

They have totally derailed the republican party.Best part is many republican voters will continue to vote for these tea party losers. 2016 will be a repeat of 2012 elections with democrats making more gains. The way things are going democrats could very well have full control again in 2016.

Safe not really driving those skinny roads on the wrong side of the road took a few days to get the hang of. We all had a blast trip of a life time.
Had my first legal beer with my son.Drinking a Guinness beer with my son in the Temple bar in the old part of downtown Dublin. This bar shows up on maps clear back to 1642.

Arguably, the 2012 elections were rigged by an unforeseen and new tactic, where the Tea Party resources were squelched… And the current administration duped Americans into believing it was a “FAIR” election.

Recent events find that a government institution (IRS) removed the financial resources from many Tea Party and conservative groups (by denying or holding off on granting 501c4 status), effectively removing their influence from the election process and as a result Obama won.

Regardless, the war of ideas isn’t dead and in the upcoming midterm and later presidential elections, the democrats will have to answer to their passing of OBAMACARE, and explain why Americans are paying more for the health care. They will need to answer their lies about Benghazi, the AP, the IRS, and the NRA. Lastly, they will need to answer to their energy policies, which will result in Americans paying more out of their pocket, while he grabs for more government power over the people and pander to rich environmental-extremists.

Our founders wrote our constitution to protect us from our government… And our government is pushing the limits of the people.

I don’t pretend to know how the next elections will result but I do trust in Americans as people and who care about their nation and their own self -interests.

I love the conversation you are having. I finally got a good answer to a question I have wanted answered for a long time; Who or what is God?

I got a link to a great page that understood that am not a child, rather someone wanting a more progressive answer to the question.

I found out that my beliefs at this time seem to categorize me as a "Weak Agnostic" although I need to do a lot more research before shedding my Catholicism for a new label.

Most definitions I found of Agnostic do not fit me but I found a place that was fantastic at being the a perfect reference for true definitions. Unfortunately I don't know how to place a link inside of my comments. I would appreciate some help?

Great to see you two still here:):) Jammer & Respect.
