Respect...

I am so upset. I spent over an hour and a half writing a good reply for you since I have a clear head this morning and it simply disappeared!!!

First I copied a statement of yours proving your negativaty. I'm just going to forget that now.

I'm just going to give you "the skinny" on the rest of it:

You state you will leave it up to God to fix things. "Only God can do it" is more like what you said.

I ask you, WHO IS GOD???

I will tell you my answer to that question:

WHO IS GOD?

After many years of pondering that question I came to the realization that
"I am way to smart to be stupid enough to think that I am that smart!"

The bible's description of God shows me no difference between God and the description of nature. Neather one is comprehendable to a single person or group of people. it is over our heads.

Therefore instead of waiting for God to do something (which is simply a cop out) I suggest we get off our ass=umptions and get to work.

Human's ability to do something about the things we see going in a bad direction is what makes us different that any other life form.

So do you want to work with me or let whatever hapens happen? Just as animals do.

ARGG!!! I did this so good this morning. Now it is awful.

It's all good no worries. Sorry your original post was lost.

I don't believe you "let God do things for you" but God is very much a part of my life. His word is a very good guide for living my life.

Even with God and understanding who He is doesn't change the fact that men have free will and must always choose. Many choose very poorly and evil is abound (recent shootings prove this all the time). There are always people who hate me because I choose the God of the Bible, but I can't change their mind; all I can do is respond the best I can.

Wooo hold on now. Did you actually read my post? I never said I let God do things for me, I said YOU wish to do that or something like it. I was saying that we should do things ourselves and that what differs us from animals is the fact that we can do things for ourselves.
I'll go back and reread my post since I had to do it a second time. Maybe I was tired and misled you but I definitely was stating the opposite.

THIS IS REAL IMPORTANT! I WILL NEVER TELL YOU ANYTHING BUT THE TRUTH OR WHAT I PERCEIVE TO BE TRUE111 There is nothing as stupid as having a conversation to learn or teach something and then lying. You don't learn much by lying:):) So in the future you need never say "I don't believe you" to anything I say.

You see it turned out that what you didn't believe was not what I said any way. If something I say causes you to doubt my veracity then simply ask me about it or make sure there isn't a misunderstanding.

Silly, it is actually funny:):) We all know people who lie in conversations and that is simply the most...Loll, it is just silly:):)

You said “You state you will leave it up to God to fix things. "Only God can do it" is more like what you said.” Which I hadn’t… so I agree let’s stay away from assumptions and take each other literally…

All I am pointing out to you and the differences in our perspective… My view is that of a Biblical perspective, where I am personally responsible for who I am, my choices, and with the understanding that the world is fallen, full of evil and will not be here forever… That’s all… I respect your statements and I see your perspective… I was 100 times worse than you were in liberal thought, trying to make little Christian girls cry because I thought their beliefs were stupid and mindless, and blaming circumstances, people and the world for all the bad things that happened to me… At least you seem rational and thoughtful… I appreciate that.

Don't write long replies in the box.Use another writing program. When finished copy and paste in to topix reply box then send.If it don't work you have lost nothing and can re-post again as you still have your work saved in another writing program.

I use "Angel Writer" it is a free text editor like Windows word.

You are to nice. Thank you.

What do you feel about getting off this planet and out into...EVERYTHING?

I think what I'm doing is kind of enjoying a great dream with others. That is if I can get this going in that direction:):)

Think of things like Star Trek or Star Gate Universe. Then add some reality to them. What it might really be like. I highly doubt that we will ever run in to any life form that resembles us in the slightest way. But if we actually did colonize many many planets through out the cosmos the eventual change in people and societies would become so interesting. These thoughts are what are getting me through life. There is no where left to go become your own group or society here on earth.

Well, I think you can see I have lost it for religion. The evil seems to be out weighing the good these days. People who use it to manipulate people, wars, and so forth.

I wrote this a minute ago. What is your thought about it. Also I don't mind hearing what you have to say about my feelings about religion.

I believe it’s absolutely possible to get off and move into the universe, however, it will not happen with the world government’s mentality to “save ourselves from global warming”. With growing limitations on gas, coal and oil, and especially nuclear production and spinning our wheels on failing green companies that can’t produce even a fraction of a fraction of the energy needed to leave, then there is no chance for us to get anywhere.

From the early-1600s through the mid-1800s, whale oil lit America and much of the Western world, and few thought it would lose its lofty position in the marketplace. The whale oil industry was, indeed, much like the petroleum industry of today. Eventually, however, the whale oil industry foundered in the face of competition, and petroleum will face the same fate.

This is simple deduction. That is why I don't even think about todays energy when I speak of doing anything that will so obviously use energy that we can not supply now. Energy is no more than one of the many things that will have to be dealt with so I don't know why he would use it as a STOPPER. There will be much harder things to overcome but it can done.

This will have to be done if you are an optimist and wish to see life carry on far into he future.

I would love to see that come to pass… But as it stands right now there is nothing as efficient and cost effective as oil and gas… Our government has been trying to FORCE a market that doesn’t exist, at a HUGE cost to taxpayers and consumers and the companies are going and have gone bankrupt. These are facts.

The person who finds the next best, efficient, and cheap energy source will be (and you’ll hate this) richer than any man or woman ever has been on this earth… BUT frankly, it’s not now and green energy in its current state is less than a joke.

And that's the point. If we do not look for another energy source we might as well have stayed with the whale oil.The first Lithium batteries sucked at energy storage but with millions of dollars of R&D it is now the best battery at energy storage. From this post of your you would be happy having a laptop computer or cell phone with 10 minuets of battery run time using old lead acid or alkaline batteries. Well I guess if you were calling the shots it would be candles and whale oil.

I would not hate it.I am all for it. Thing is I would like that person to be from here and not China or worse Iran. Right now China leads the world in renewable energy spending. How would you feel if that new energy source was invented by a communist making China home to the richest person in the world?

I am the one saying we need to keep looking for new better energy sources. A mix of many new energy sources would be the best way to go. The more green energy or energy savings with more energy efficiency in appliances and lighting would also help.

Not to long ago natural gas turbine generator efficiency was less than coal fired today gas turbine efficiency is double that of coal.
