Hey all ... just dropping by to say Hello ... Wishing everyone a great Hump day! hehe

Today when I got to work ....the morning sky was a beautiful orange as the day started to break and when I looked back to the west ... there was a rainbow against some scatterd dark clouds. It was just amazing at the brilliance of color so early in the morning.

Too bad I was brain dead and didn't snap a picture.

Hey Hatti H. That sounds like a beautiful start on the day but are you familiar with this saying:

Red sky at morning, Sailor take warning;
Red sky at night, Sailor's delight.

I don't know if that only applies to the sea; I hope so. I don't mean to put a damper on the beauty you saw, but I always remember that saying.

Yes I have heard that saying all my life. I think it applies to land lovers too. This afternoon it is now overcast and dreary :(

I have many sayings that I take heed of ... like ... if it's raining and the sun is shining .. that means it will be raining about the same time the next day.

I think there is a grain of truth embedded in most old sayings and myths; that may be the reason they have stood the test of time.
