Anyone, even a looney leftist, can create jobs when you spend $ 8 Trillion of someone else's money.

Problem is the growth has been slower and more painful than anytime since WW2 with most jobs being part time and low wage.

Check out the debt increase under Obama. Create jobs? Not really, we have just as many people working today than when Obama came into office.

No matter what they were screaming, it doesn' negate the fact that our nation's economy generally is independent of its president for the most part imo.

Those expenditures were charged to Bush. Obama could have reversed anything Bush did but chose not to and in fact increased the deficit and debt over and above Bush's deficit and debt.

Contrary to Republican LIES, the U.S. economy has gotten better during Obama’s presidency. The picture was bleak in 2008. The auto industry had lost almost all of its value, the stock market was crashing, GDP was rapidly shrinking, we were in the middle of the foreclosure crisis and the economy was bleeding jobs rapidly. Today, the economy is consistently rebounding . Obama's policies have made the economy stronger. In fact, economic projections show that Obama’s policies would have brought us to a much better picture faster, had the Republican-led Congress not filibustered and killed many of said policies.

Republicans would rather cry, lie and say no to everything then work with the Democrats and President Obama to move our country forward......Despicable, Disgraceful, Disgusting LIARS = GOP

It's unlikely that President Obama will ever shake his reputation among LIAR Republicans as a big spender. But FACT counters that rap.

As a share of the economy, spending on domestic and defense programs has been on the decline since 2010, and is on track to reach the lowest level in more than 50 years

The Congressional Budget Office projects using President Obama's economic policies by 2023 discretionary spending will fall to 5.3% of GDP, the lowest since 1962.
