Republicans stand for your individual freedom not to have government plan your energy and fuel use to mitigate climate change. The Republican Party stands for a 0% carbon tax and revenue neutrality with regard to your carbon dioxide emissions or sequestrations. True freedom means mitigating climate as an individual, not part of the party, nation or global community. You may associate as you please and the Republican Party stands for your freedom to speak and associate, but we know populism, justification for bigger government and excuses for wasteful government spending, cronyism and fraud.

No EPA CO2 regulation, that was the original intent of Congress. No court regulation of CO2 because they can't stop you from emitting all you please, they can only charge big stationary emitters like power plants, to penalize all energy consumers and producers.

Restricting greenhouse gas emissions and carbon taxes are terrible ideas for our stunted and over regulated economy and hubris for our governments and parties.

LOL! Odd.. You’re posting from a government web site… If 97% of all scientists agree why not post a NON-Government source?
Because you can’t.
The web site released the INFORMATION...The Scientists are from world-wide Universities and Institutions, government and private

REPUBLICANS THINKING THEY'RE SMARTER THAN SCIENTISTS! Denial, doesn't make climate change NOT real, Republicans, it only makes you, Republicans, look really stupid!

What is this passionate love affair the Republicans have with an industry that produces water and air pollution without any regard to climate or the severe illnesses it causes to people?

And why do they insist on huge tax breaks for these destroyers of humanity?

The Clean Air Act Amendments, EPA must regulate harmful pollutants that endanger human health. And in 2009, prodded by a Supreme Court ruling, the agency designated carbon dioxide a “harmful pollutant,” adding it to the ranks of other toxins such as mercury, lead, soot, and sulfur dioxide.

Republicans can deny science and claim government is the boogy man, but that does not negate the fact Climate Change is REAL

Liar. ALL are commissioned by world governments. Climate change will always occur with or without humans on the face of the planet. You look stupid for your desire for government control on something no one on earth can control.

You were duped by al gore who got rich on poor fools like you to buy overpriced energy from him.

Climate change is real that why the Environmentalists got stuck in ice for over a month near the south poll… Recording the melt back! That Irony at it’s finest.

You, the environmentalists, and the government can’t do a THING to affect changing climate… You are just a democrat slave owner… Tax and cap Americans on their energy to bend to your will…

Keep begging for votes!

You Deniers continue to repeat several arguments long after they have been debunked by experts. In the past, deniers have contended (and some continue to argue) that the world is not warming. Overwhelming amounts of data from throughout the world have made that argument so fallacious that the deniers have now shifted their contention; claiming that humans are not responsible for the warming. Because the basic physics of greenhouse gases has been well-established, along with the fact that human activity has generated billions of tons of greenhouse gases, make this argument untenable, the denier argument has shifted further. Some deniers now concede that warming will occur, but that impacts will be minimal, and some argue that even if climate change will have impacts, it will cost too much for us to do anything about it. Of course, the cost of failing to act will be much higher.

Why the opposition for HELPING future generations?

I cannot comprehend why anyone would NOT want to leave the EARTH a better place for their future generations, when we have the ability.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

The 2014 Faith and Freedom Coalition and Koch Brothers Science Committee just approved the organization's official position on a myriad of science issues as follows:

1. "The Flintstones-The Movie," as mandatory viewing. This proposal, with the help of the American Christian Taliban Evangelicals endorsed this movie arguing that their Biblical interpretation and the movie closely depicts the historical timeline that men and dinosaurs roamed earth at the same time, approximately 10,000 years ago when the earth was created.

2. Unanimously confirmed that the Earth is flat

3. Despite 98% of the world climatology experts confirming that climate change is increasing with human's as a major contributor, the Organization is standing behind a handful of high school graduate climate “experts” whose reasoning for climate change is the aging of worldwide population, and as a result more people are menopausal therefore feel warm most of the time.

.....I'm sure that this FoxNews update will make the TeaPublicans pee with joy

You're high!! You are... The shit you say is just that. Look at the world. Take a look at history... The industrial revolution created more off gases and more emissions then what's out there today. Our country has been through two world wars and we didn't see any climate change during those horrific environmental disasters, so all the sudden we now deal with this... Bull shit!!!

Untreated industrial, agricultural and human liquid and solid waste kill off coastal life, not man made CO2 emissions.

China's top legislature approved Thursday, Aug. 27 2009 afternoon a resolution on climate change, ahead of an international conference in December in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The resolution of "actively dealing with climate change" was endorsed by lawmakers at the closing meeting of a four-day session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), the top legislature of China.

India has renewed its commitment to continued international climate change negotiations. In fact, two recent pieces of news indicate that they are perhaps looking to take an even larger role in shaping future global actions on climate change.

India has nominated their Secretary of the Environment, Vijay Sharma, to lead the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Here is ONE example why Republicans are on the LOSING side of history

Reince Priebus, Chairman of the National Republican Committee, talking to a man of obvious Hispanic descent. Oh yeah, they re-elected Priebus as the chair of the RNC. That explains a lot in itself.

Priebus:(smiling)“Hi Mr. Mexican Man!”

Man:“I’m not Mexican. My parents are from El Salvador.”

Priebus:“Same difference. Since you are so obviously an anchor baby, we’d like you and your family to go back to Mexico!”

Man:(not smiling)“My parents are from El Salvador …

Priebus:(still smiling)“Same difference …”

Man:(still not smiling)“… and they applied for and got U.S. citizenship during the Reagan Administration.”

Priebus:(sorta smiling)“Yeah, listen, our campaign donors need your land for fraking so we need you to vacate immediately. There’s a bus leaving for El Paso, Texas in a couple hours and you can cross the border there. You Mexicans like riding in buses, don’t you?”

What is popular with America is popular with the Democrat liberal base. What is popular with the Republican conservative base is not popular with America. That ends up giving Democrats—so long as they follow public opinion—quite the electoral competitive edge. And nothing in the recent polling changes that assessment.

Republican congressional Poll:

79.0
Disapprove

13.0
Approve
