Absolutely....Because I'm educated

NOT a brainwashed FoxNoise republican clone

I'm support any law that would help the 9 MILLION (and growing) Americans NOW INSURED some for the first time in their LIVES!

That is 9 MILLION

9 million more people now have health insurance because of the Affordable Care Act.

2 million through the exchanges, 4 million through expanded Medicaid, and another 3.1 million young adults that are covered by their parents health insurance.

The ACA is working.

Do you ever ask the ‘WHY” question. Your demonization of republicans is getting old especially when your side hold most of the power.
They are more than capable of demonizing themselves....Mitch McConnel holding up a musket at CPAC.....McCain itching to send troops toward the Ukraine....if it was'nt so sad, it would be like an SNL skit....

The Tea Party ushered in a new breed of Republicans in 2010

What did they accomplish?

The only thing the Tea Party has accomplished is the eventual destruction of the REPUBLICAN party

The 112th Congress with this insurgence filibustered more bills than any other congress IN HISTORY accomplishing NOTHING with the exception of shutting down the Federal Government at a cost to the American people the tune of 38 BILLION dollars.

What was meant to be the savior of their party, is in fact--tearing it apart

So what will be the nail in the Coffin for the Republican party?

President Hillary Clinton...

8 years of our nation's first black President (I know, I know he's half white) followed by 8 years of our nation's first female President. That's 16 years of historic Democratic leadership. 16 years where Republicans can't take credit for anything that was signed by the Executive branch.

So when Hillary announces she is running, it will be a moment that history will reflect back on as a turning point in American politics. Because trust me, Hillary will destroy whoever Republicans decide to sacrifice. They know it and their Corporate puppet masters Karl Rove and the Koch brothers are scared to death.

President Hillary Clinton will keep the American Dream alive and stop the destruction of the middle class that the Republicans are hell bent on eliminating.

No Republican in office has proposed sending troops to the Ukraine; the lies never stop.

Conservatives are united on restoring the principles of our Constitution.

President Obama's proposed budget is EXACTLY what this Country needs Why would the Republicans appose it?

President Obama's budget is actually really really GOOD

It reduces our debt held by the public to GDP ratio over 10 years

It drops it from increasing to 79% under current law to 69%- HUGE

It also cuts current projected deficits in half by 2024 at a time when they were projected to once again increase due to retiring baby boomers - HUGE

It invests where we need it to for infrastructure and pre-k - adds jobs

It helps the poor by increasing the EITC (earned income tax credit) and expanding it to more childless adults who make the minimum wage - a really big deal

Something conservatives like Marco Rubio was pushing for as an alternative to the min wage.

It pays for this by cutting tax loopholes for the wealthiest

The budget is actually a very good one and will boost employment, GDP growth, help the working poor, and it will cut deficits and reduce our debt to GDP ratio

President Obama's budget does exactly what people on both sides have been saying they want to do

You are TIRESOME and REDUNDANT and those are a couple COMPLIMENTS.....

Topix is a place for conversation and opinion.....I'm not an expert just educated and base my OPINION on what I read and learn through observation.....EVERYTHING I TYPE IS NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN 100% LITERALLY. A good portion of what I type is to make a POINT

However I did type 99.9% of Charities receive Government grants.....I may be, just may be off by a percentage point or two but the FACT remains. Most Charities/Non-Profits in the U.S.receive or apply for Government Grants

I spent 20+ years working in the Non-Profit sector....I personally applied for Grants on the behalf of my employer MANY, MANY times throughout my career utilizing the 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.

I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT

The website www.opensecrets.org , which tracks money in politics, reports that MOST of the institutions that receive government grants and contracts consider their organizations to be NON-PROFIT-CHARITIES

No where on this web site claims "99.9% of ALL charities in the U.S. receive GOVERNMENT GRANTS!!!!!!!!”

Interesting.....

What is your motive to challenge a web developer that is offering a service to track what your side so vehemently contradicts?

Because the prior system (which was itself governed by a dense thicket of insurance-company rules) failed to keep medical costs at affordable levels or make healthcare available to everybody

Public pressure demanded change, you might not like the change but that does not change FACTS

People automatically resist change being stuck with something that did not work and was bankrupting this nation HAD TO CHANGE

Get used to it....

The Republicans scream "Socialism" this is hyperbole.....

Anybody educated about socialism ought to know that it's not what we have in the U.S.

If we did have a socialistic country Americans would be paid similar wages determined by government bureaucrats. In reality, 84 percent of American workers are employed in the private sector, with just 16 percent employed in government. Most people's pay is determined by what they're able to convince a company or a group of customers to pay them, with no upper limit.

That is NOT socialism!.

The ACA is NOT socialized medicine since the customer is still buying insurance. Socialized medicine is not an insurance plan, it is a health plan. Under socialized medicine, you do not worry about bills and deductibles, you go to the doctors or hospital and get your care and walk away.

The ACA is TRUE Capitalism at it's best.

Delay, defund and repeal. Even Obama is in favor of delaying Obamacare, that's why he keeps changing the law without any input from Congress.

If you have a President who can change and selective enforce laws, you no longer have a president.

The ACA is new government regulations for all your health insurance policies; now the government can cancel your policy if it doesn't meet their standards.
