Show us a link showing Conservative groups COULD NOT operate as tax free while waiting for tax free application approval from the IRS.

It seems the Republicans are becoming more like Democrats, unwilling to stop the growth of government and restore small federal government and big citizens. Can you believe, the Republicans voted to fund Obamacare?

Our government is doing this to us, why do we let them?

Believe me brother I'm not a "spoon fed democrat" and I have lived in Denver Colorado for many years and I have seen the influx of Californian's and Texan's for way too long.
Keep your trash at home we don't want or need them.
But we are a free country, and I guess if I lived in squalor due to Republican leadership I would be moving to a state run by a Democratically run majority myself.
The only ones living in squaller are those in BLUE states....Ohio, Illinois, Cali......I just you think Detroit, Chicago, Ckeveland, are all nice places to live?

Brian, the logical moderate Republicans have began to see the error of their ways...The smart ones watch polls listen to the Majority of the American people and want to govern...The MINORITY tea party extremists have seen their last days...

Mark my words the tea party will be all but dead in 2014!

Can you figure out why.
Can you figure out why our gov't wants to censor the net......TOO?
Successful revolution.

The last time the subject of "internet censorship" came up in Congress was in 2010 the Bill that died in committee was called "Combating Online Infringements and Counterfeits Act" meant to protect copy right infringement rights. There has not been any "censorship" bills brought up for a vote or even brought to committee since.

Because they don't understand what will happen to THEM if the government doesn't control their spending. Just like they didn't believe Obamacare was bad until they started finding out what it was going to cost THEM personally. I read an article yesterday right on the Yahoo homepage about the number of millennials moving away from the Democratic party because of the "bait and switch" of Obamacare. The young people have always been the group the Democrats could count on and it's weakening. My old boss used to say if you're in your 20's and your not a liberal you have no heart. If you're in your 40's and you're still a liberal you have no brain. Looks like he might have been wrong. It would appear a lot of them can do the math and it doesn't add up to anything close to affordable.

As the Democrats have moved to the far left, the Republicans have moved toward the middle. I love democracy, we're seeing how big government, wasteful massive government spending, intrusive regulations and higher taxes harm all citizens. Getting stuff for free from the government is fun but not sustainable.

"The IRS does not require a 501(c)(4) organization to wait for official recognition of its exempt status from the IRS before it can get to work. In fact, organizations need not file an application at all — though, organizations that do not file applications may be required to later complete a questionnaire."

That made my point clear. I guess you don't understand what you are reading.

Did you read what I posted? Did you even read what you posted?

Your post provided this list which supports the articles I posted:
public recognition of exempt status (which can be helpful for fundraising purposes),
eligibility for nonprofit mailing privileges,
exemption from certain state level taxes,
the “peace of mind” factor – giving the organization the assurance that it qualifies for exemption and won’t be required to pay back taxes if the IRS later decides it doesn’t qualify for exemption.

Do you deny these facts? Because 3 years to wait for approval and not only that the fact they were approved after the election is damning... Now post something else that shows the groups could have done what they wanted without the status or you can just concede.
