Love how you post the leftist slant… How about just facts.

Bush stated,“It’s important to promote a culture of life. A hospitable society is a society where every being counts and every person matters. The ideal world is one in which every child is protected in law and welcomed to life. I understand there’s great differences on this issue of abortion, but I believe reasonable people can come together and put good law in place that will help reduce the number of abortions. Take, for example, the ban on partial birth abortion. It’s a brutal practice. People from both political parties came together in the halls of Congress and voted overwhelmingly to ban that practice. It made a lot of sense. What I’m saying is, is that as we promote life and promote a culture of life, surely there are ways we can work together to reduce the number of abortions: continue to promote adoption laws-it’s a great alternative to abortion-continue to fund and promote maternity group homes; I will continue to promote abstinence programs.”

So do you call him a Liar?

Bush also said,“We’re not going to spend taxpayers’ money on abortion.”

And the right wants you scared of god living uneducated and poor.

Well then Americans are just to stupid, as every country with a FAR lower abortion rate then the United states have legal abortions and cheap easy access to birth control.

In a way he has a point but not really. American women are having babies later in life and that leads to more babies with bad defects that modern medicine can spot every early in a woman's pregnancy and she has an abortion not a down syndrome baby.

More than 90 percent of women who learn they have a fetus with Down syndrome choose to terminate their pregnancies. Down syndrome is just one of over 450 conditions, many potentially fatal or debilitating.pregnancy.

Abstinence is "real sex Ed" and public schools may teach other forms too. When abstinence is practiced, pregnancy and STD risks approach zero.

Graduate High School, get a job then marry and have children; that's the recipe to ending poverty. The left depends on single parents, impoverished immigrants who can't speak English and a permanent underclass, to increase government scope, control, spending and power.

Liberal Democracy as a Culture of Death:

To claim the right to abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia, and to recognize that right in law, means to attribute to human freedom a perverse and evil significance: that of an absolute power over others and against others. This is the death of true freedom.

About 800 women die from pregnancy- or childbirth-related complications around the world every day. In 2010, 287 000 women died during and following pregnancy and childbirth. Almost all of these deaths occurred in low-resource settings, and most could have been prevented.

More than 100,000 children in the U.S. foster care system were waiting to be adopted in 2011, according to a report by the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System. About 50,500 were adopted that year.
“While tens of thousands of children are adopted from foster care each year, twice as many are still waiting for a permanent home,” said Subcommittee Chairman Dave Reichert.“Past federal efforts have increased support for adoptions and have helped states reduce the number of children in foster care each year.”
You want to add a million a year to this.Again how many are you going to raise as your own???

The analysis of data from a large federal survey found that more than half of youths became sexually active before marriage regardless of whether they had taken a "virginity pledge," but that the percentage who took precautions against pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases was 10 points lower for pledgers than for non-pledgers. Girls that take the pledge six times more likely to perform oral sex, and four times more likely to engage in anal sex.
I guess them girls taking it up the ass won't get knocked up.

Teen Pregnancy numbers have been going down for a few decades, hitting a 42-percent drop by 2008. The decline occurred across all races though blacks and Latinos continued to have higher numbers.
The dramatic decline is a huge success for those who have worked to prevent teen pregnancy, but there's still much work ahead.

J. is writing about children, I am writing about newborns; put your unborn baby up for adoption instead of murdering an innocent unborn person. There are waiting lists to adopt newborns, teens not so much.

J. encourages policies that destroy families, like subsidizing single parenthood, then acts surprised at the foster care situation. Back before government monopolized charity, fewer children were raised in single parent households.

Same sex marriage would change custody law; keep marriage one man and one woman so kids would have a mom and dad.
