The Oakland-based Christian radio group that predicted the end of the world in May said it did its math wrong –- and rapture is now expected to occur Friday.
Preacher Harold Camping's Family Radio International posted a special message on its website on Thursday with a lengthy explanation about the Day of Judgment, which is expected to last five months. That "Day of Judgment" began on May 21 -– the date Camping had predicted as the end of the world, the website said. But it is now expected to last through Oct. 21.

LOL… The consequence of a fallen world… You would understand this if you tried to understand the Bible. The human condition in unavoidable…
We have no way of knowing when… The Bible is very clear on that, but because you pick and choose your verses, I’m sure it’s a small oversight on your part.

I'm all for it.Lets teach ALL creation accounts not only one.
Creationism isn’t an account, it’s lining up creation with what we know scientifically… Oddly, I’m in agreement with you. Teach it all and let our children learn to think.

It was not nonbeliever that told of all these failed end times events. It was believers. Jesus did say that not all the people living at that time would not die before his return.

“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”- Matthew 24:34

That kinda does set a time for judgment. I am pretty sure all them are not only dead but dust by now.

On Harold Camping May Judgment Day prediction date I hosted a Judgment Day party at my house. We had a blast.Part of me the next day wished it was all over head hurt really bad. LOL

Over 99% of every species that has ever lived has went extinct only makes sense that we the human animals would go that way too.

They were only people... who were deceived!

The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Do you think believers are exempt from the human condition?
The Bible is very clear, but when you pick and choose you rely on your own understanding.

And that passage Matthew 24:34 was taken WAY out of context!
It failed to include the description of "this generation" described in the passages before!!!

C.S. Lewis said, "The apocalyptic beliefs of the first Christians have been proved to be false. It is clear from the New Testament that they all expected the Second Coming in their own lifetime.

So, they bugged the Senate Minority leader's campaign office and recorded Mitch and his team's laughing at Ashley Judd's political future. And blame them for being mean.

But the tape was obtained illegally, without the consent of any party except the criminal eavesdropper. They aren't journalists, they are accomplices.

So I go and click on this conversation figuring I'm going to read about a discussion on the GOP being liars however I find the discussion has turned to religion and Christianity. The day of the Lord is coming soon. if anyone here has knowledge of the Bible and Bible prophecy it has been proven And everyone should at least agree that Bible prophecy has come true. many Bible prophecies have yet to come about however situations that are occurring in the world today Indicate that those prophecies could very well come true in the near future. Most non-believers approach the Bible looking to prove it false instead of approaching Bible scripture with an open mind. Non-believers should approach the Bible as a book of history and after reading the Bible from beginning to end then make a decision on whether to believe or not. We are all sinners, Christians and non-Christians the only difference between us is that Christians believe in Jesus Christ and believe that their sins have been forgiven and they will have eternal life because of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made. Nonbelievers choose not to believe. Why should we fight over this why do nonbelievers if they don't believe feel the need to attack Christians for their beliefs? It is written in the Bible, the answer to this question. If you know not the answer, I suggest you research it in the Bible. It is part of Bible prophecy.

That's interesting. What republican policy is doing that?

Very few working class people are republican. However the ones who are are stupid and parrot what they are told.
Willing hands find chains on them
The wealthy have had huge tax breaks for over a decade, where are the jobs?

Cutting education, placing more of the tax burden on the working class (the working class pays for 70% of the governments revenue, income tax only pays 30% of the governments revenue)
Giving corporations rights and welfare (more is spent on corporate welfare than all of the social services combined)
Destroying the labor unions that created the middle class
attacking universal health care,
taking public land for private business (and NOT collecting the royalties from the oil companies that they owe)

You mean to tell me that the majority of demorat voters are the dead beats on welfare and food stamps?
And that they vote for the demorats because the demorats promise them that they will steal from those who earn their money and give to those who don't (them)?
And then they will call it "fairness"?
It's only being fair you know!

Exxon, who gets billion in welfare, own republicans.
Israel gets billions and tens of billions spent protecting them, they own republicans.
The number of people who voted Obama in for a second term are not on welfare.
So basically you are caught in a lie.
Unless you are one of the stupid ones who parrot propaganda.
Hey keep voting to give corporations welfare
