I don't believe I advocated socialism as a viable type of government for the USA and therefore did not need the kindergarten lesson. My point was that my personal belief is that Capitalism has nearly taken control of this country. The fact that the people chose Obama shows that the capitalists have not quite reached full control. I contend that life under a capitalist regime would be tantamount to a life of slavery unless you happen to be one of 1% to 3% of those that would be in control.
My injection of Socialism is no more then a suggestion that more ELECTED government and socializing some programs is the way to curtail a comple Capitalistic rule. Einstein said that "The USSR is going to have to become more Democratic and the USA will have to become more Socialistic if the countries are going to survive." The USSR went way beyond what Einstein advocated but the USA has gone further down the path it was on at the time Einstein said this.
Considering the number of people on the planet a vast number of them will have to be eliminated if the capitalists are to have their way. It would take to long to explain this but I will try to get a link that will do it for me.
( I truely hope that you understood this and are not going to try to give me a geography lesson )
Sounds rational except what nation has ever failed under capitalism? How many have failed under socialism or communism?

The truth is until you give up being jealous of others earnings you will not amount to much of anything.

Moreover the concern shouldn’t be over capitalism or socialism; it should be are we as AMERICANS holding to the VALUES that the founders have established? Socialism by its very nature removes liberty which is a primary value Americans hold.

Brazil
Japan
Sudan
Sweden
Colombia
Note:
It's also worth mentioning that while most countries embrace the fundamentals of capitalism, there is NO such thing as PURE capitalism in the world. The economies of the countries listed above are considered "mixed economies". If an economy is analyzed in the capitalism-socialism spectrum, most countries, including the United States, would appear closer to the middle.

Jobless rate dips to 7.7 percent, but economy shows vulnerability in face of fiscal crisis

The unemployment rate ticked down to 7.7 percent in November, but the economy continued to showed vulnerability in the face of sweeping tax hikes and spending cuts hitting as early as next month.

The Labor Department's latest monthly report, the first since the presidential election, underscored how ill-equipped the economy is to withstand the looming fiscal crisis -- which economists warn could send the country plunging back into recession unless lawmakers avert it.

The report showed the economy added a modest 146,000 jobs in November. On the positive side, the government said Superstorm Sandy had only a minimal effect on the figures.

But while the jobless rate fell from 7.9 percent to 7.7 percent, the lowest since December 2008, the dip was in large part due to people giving up the job hunt. The government also said employers added 49,000 fewer jobs in October and September than initially estimated.

540,000 people drop from labor force as U.S. rate falls to 7.7%
Posted on December 7, 2012

and manufacturing jobs dropped more than expected…

Confused why the unemployment rate dropped? The same, favorite BLS adjustment – a drop in the labor force participation rate which declined by 0.2% to 63.6% once again, as the number of people out of the labor increased by over 540K to 88,883,000.

The U.S. economy created 146,000 new jobs and the unemployment rate slid to 7.7 percent, in a report much better than economists had expected.

Despite the effects from Superstorm Sandy, the jobs engine continued to run, albeit slowly.

Well, really it didn’t. Buried at the end of the report is this:

Previous month’s employment gains also were lowered through revisions.

The Labor Department’s initial report for October showed a gain of 171,000 jobs, but now is listed at 138,000. The September gain of 148,000 was taken down to 132,000.

On they go:

The Labor Department said the storm’s effects might be more accurately gauged in next months’ report.

But internally, the report showed weakness.

The numbers had some puzzling contradictions, particularly in the assertion that Sandy “did not substantively impact” the jobs count for November, and in substantial downward revisions from previous months.

Also, the drop in the unemployment rate appeared to reflect little more than a continued exodus of workers from the labor force.

The labor force participation rate, already around 30-year lows, fell further in the month to 63.6 percent. That represented 350,000 fewer workers.

But they seem confused by percentages and fractions – zerohedge isn’t - their numbers tie out and they say that it wasn’t 350K but 540K who dropped out of the workforce:

Confused why the unemployment rate dropped? The same, favorite BLS adjustment – a drop in the labor force participation rate which declined by 0.2% to 63.6% once again, as the number of people out of the labor force increased by over 540K to 88,883,000.

Math is hard.

You have said TWICE that you "understand" that Socialism is an economic SYSTEM

Socialism is NOT a "Value" in any way shape or form.

We have had a capitalist/socialistic economy in this country since the revolutionary war.

There is no such thing as a pure Capitalistic economy/country ON EARTH and never has there been one.

Republicans Caught in Austerity Trap

By Chris Stirewalt
-- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid talking to reporters, warning of the effect of spending cuts proposed by Republicans.

Democrats are cheered today because the unemployment rate fell again to 7.7 percent, reinforcing their argument that government spending will eventually lead America out of its economic wilderness.
While the Obama administration promised that the 2009 stimulus package would have long ago banished such high unemployment numbers, the gradual ebbing of the unemployment rate still serves to bolster the Blue Team’s argument that now is the time to juice the economy with additional spending,
While Republicans are fairly well consigned to a terrible six months as they battle Obama on taxes and spending, the party has to figure out a way to stop being the Grinch party and start being the growth party.
Republicans, meanwhile, are calling for cuts, cuts, cuts. The party, forced into an ongoing fiscal fight by the defeat of their presidential nominee, is becoming the American version of the British Tories: The austerity party.

While Democrats are cheering the unemployment-rate drop, the truth is revealed in the underlying numbers. While the economy added 146,00 jobs, 542,000 Americans fell out of the labor market. If another 542,000 people had given up looking for work we might have gotten the top-line rate down to a flat 7 percent.

And whatever Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Jay Carney say today about the jobs numbers, Americans still understand that the economy is, at best, weak. The new normal still seems abnormal.

But in this environment, Republicans feel duty bound to hold the line on spending. They are making a generational argument, explaining that the deficit spending of today is not only immoral but is dooming our grandchildren to poverty.

You're a socialist.

When an economic system removes American Values it is not a viable system. Socialism as a economic system has never worked... If you think health care should be a right, then you are in fact a SOCIALIST. Why? How is health care offered?

Natural rights are free and health care costs money... The fact that your willing to steal from others to provide to others makes you a socialist.... The democrat leadership are socialists... and you and many others voted them into power... These are all facts. Hard for you to shake the public school education where they teach you the rich are bad and you need to steal from then and make them care for you.

Sad
