That highway 93 is a nasty one. I've seen lots of people do some dumb things on that stretch of road.

I think it's pretty ridiculous to close down a major road on a busy weekend just because of a two car accident. I was caught in that unnecessary mess and I can't understand why it was necessary to divert thousands of vehicles miles out of their way insteaad of just dragging the wrecks off the road and getting on with everything. It shouldn't take 4 hours to get traffic back to normal just because of a 2 car wreck!

I also was caught up in that mess coming back from estes park and thought that maybe it was construction going on.. i was pretty mad, but after reading that it was an accident i am now ok with the highway being closed. You cannot just drag the cars off the road like that when you are investigating an accident. All the other cars driving through could tamper with necessary evidence. get a clue. I would want the highway closed down if it was me or any of friends or family that were in a serious wreck like that. I would want to know why it happened and how it happened.

Any time I read about something like this, I fully expect it to involve a person with a Hispanic name. I wonder what the news reporters would have to report on if all Hispanic people left. It would take away probably 60 percent of what is reported in the media. Sometimes when I watch the news, I wonder if I'm living in Mexico.

Let me fix the news report:
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash and suspect that drugs (and an immigrant in this country illegally and without a license or insurance) were contributing factors to the crash.

They were required to do an investigation. It isn't as simple as just moving things out of the road. This wasn't a fender bender.
