Why the heck do we continue to let this stuff happen? No seat belts except for the two year old?
No sysmpathy! NONE! Who is going to pay for the medical bills and the funeral? YOU AND ME?
I am just disgusted that this continues to happen and our liberal government and the rest of you bleeding hearts keep pushing it down our throats that we have to suck it up. Do you think I would have cared if they all had died. No. Probably not. How many people in this car were illegal?
100 years old - sad - very sad - and to die like this.

one good thing is that there was not a 2year old hurt or killed to follow the colorado week of 2 year olds and cars. Sad to have such a long life taken by an illegal (lol), but you never know when its your time at 2 years old or 100 years old or 60 years old.

No sympathy? While seatbelts usually save lives, they can also cause death in an auto accident. Many years ago my oldest brother was thrown into the back seat in an accident because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. If he had been, he'd have most likely been killed by the engine taking up the front seat after the accident.

yeah no sympathy - I survived an accident after being thrown from the back seat through the windshield. My stupid a$$ didnt have on a seat belt. It is the LAW! And by the grace of G_d I lived! But guess who paid my bills? Guess who the bill collectors STILL call. ME. I didnt ask any one else to pay for this. I didnt get the choice. That is why there is no sypathy.

What in the hell was a 100 year old man doing with car keys. His family should have taken them away long ago.

SEAT BELTS PEOPLE!!! Let's all hope that our tax dollars aren't paying the victims' medical bills when they may have been fine had they only been wearing their seat belts. How 'bout citing the driver with vehicular homicide and child endangerment? A little salt in the wound might have folks thinking twice before they drive off without buckling up.

I bet the tractor trailer was left parked there by an illegal. He probably drove the truck up from Mexico with a trailer load of illegals and abandoned the truck there.
Figures.
How very sad to have a man who has lived for so many years and have you making fun of him. Shame on you, there are a lot of Spanish people here who have been here for many, many years. It is really the young ladies fault for not belting all of the people up, she was the driver. She was the one in charge of the auto. May God be with the gentleman,

One of the most rediculous stories of the day. How do you hit a parked tractor trailor?
Who puts kids in a car without a seat belt?
Is there a difference in a child and 100 year old man?
I didnt see that there was a car seat involved - was there?
Is she illegal? And why does that become the question of the day?
Is there anyone else that is as frustrated as I am about this kind of stuff?

Oh yes good old California the home of 75% of all the Illegals in the US! More Meth labs per capita, the state where the cops fly over your yard to see what you have back there, the state that can not survive with out Colorado with out us you could not cook your food, you could not even flush your toilets with out us! Glad you live in California too! One last thing you should learn the 'C' in California is to be capitalized!

I saw the car and truck after they crashed. The truck was parked OFF of the road. No reason the woman should have been driving over there. There were also NO skid marks. She likely wasn't even looking.

From the looks of the car, the occupants would have come out a lot better had they been wearing seat belts. The passenger compartments were not damaged.
