*sigh* Very sorry for this one, as you can see Auntie and I are two very small peas in a very big pod in an even bigger melting pot of people from all over the world. I do agree with the man or woman..we are not crazy about illegals, and that is a majority vote. However I must have missed the actual data on Californians. I still welcome you with open arms to our beautiful state.

<quoted text>It was that cold for a couple of days. I know the second day, the day after the first water line broke in one of the neighboring dorms and we were ushered out into the cold, the fire alarm went off again at 7A and we were ushered out again. It was pretty bad. Yeah, I was able to go out and to my classes. My coat's pretty warm, and I have an insulating face mask. It was so cold that it didn't feel cold, though.
"Chocolate Chip" mountains?*I* haven't heard of them...
Only "Chocolate Chip mountains" I've heard of is a recipe for Mountains Chocolate Chip Cookies.

So you honestly believe that state and local govts. haven't changed for the worse in the last 20 years? Biggest influx of legal citizens to CO have been from California over the last 30 years. The majority of them flaming liberals.

At least the ones from California are in the open, not hidden in the closet like most from the deep south.

Agreed. I wonder though if our guest might have gotten out of California before she became Californicated.

Perhaps she should know that if she wishes to associate with extreme liberals Boulder would be a good choice. If not, then avoid Boulder.

My friend, I am not here to debate hate. I talk to about 25 people a day in my business at length about many many things politics, even though it is really not a great topic of discussion when you are working with the public. I can honestly tell you that the big majority of the people I talk with are not liberal. Some may think they are, but when the hard issues are brought up, they are all in agreement that the state is in trouble with illegals, jobs being shipped off, wages cut you name it, they tend to think more conservatively. I think it is unfair to target a single person who appears to have lived all over the country as part of the problem. Sadly for every yin there must be a yang, or balance is not really balanced at all, is it? Generalizing is not the way we want to build Colorado.

LOL, ya nailed it with Boulder being the most liberal. You can't even have a couch on your front porch in Boulder. Because they end up in the street set on fire.

Boulder city code prohibits them from placing indoor furniture in their yard or on their porch. Violators can be fined $100 for a first offense.

Even with a Colorado medical marijuana license you can't smoke in public or drive under its influence.

Thats true even in Boulder.

take a look.

It's the enforcement. I heard of somebody who got a ticket for smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk ON THE DAY of the 4/20 celebration.

The locals like Lovelands ski resort for the price and how close it is to civilization. My favorite is Breckenridge, pricier but oh man is it pretty there. Skiing is really good too. Lots of bunny slopes, family friendly.
