Does a human chain stop pollution from burning coal?

Let's not forget, the Germans will be burning lignite, much dirtier compared to anthracite or brown coal.
In US, even the brown coal burning modern plants are facing vociferous opposition...
But no worry, the Russian and French "friends" will see provide german economy with plenty of nuclear generated electricity, for a modest fee.

A bit scary. 120,000 people with so much energy and initiate, but with so little knowledge. Such masses can do immense harm, and they already have. The German green movement has so far hurt the environment more than they have helped it, precisely b/c of their opposition to nuclear power. Go Merkel!
