Real Catholics don't close churches and schools or sell off or destroy relics and other religious items.

Real priests and nuns like many of the saints took vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

Many from new order church don't even take vows of poverty and live like hollywood movie stars. They break vow of chastity to rape and molest innocent children and adults. They commit adultry with men and women. And obedience is used as a lame excuse for everything because they give obedience to man instead of God. The neworder Mass is nothing but watered down service. How many are stealing inheritances, properties etc. Go to savestmarys.net This is probably the most conservative novus ordo parish around. This website will clue you in on further sin and scandal of the new order church and dioceses.

Boys who masturbate likelier to have safe sex.

Masturbation could play an important role in sexual self-awareness and condom use in teenage boys, according to a new report.

My point exactly. The Pope is NOT God. Neither are priests, monsignors, Bishops, or cardinals. Though they all have FABULOUS dresses and jewelry. Did I mention all the antiques Pope Benny on the Hill owns? And the Artwork?

Seriously though I respect Catholics in general. Most are very nice people. I just don't have a very high opinion of their RULERS.

You should go to catholic chapel that is not affiliated with the diocese. These chapels do not condone sin. You will also learn alot about the true Catholic faith and teachings of the church. You go to Mass to go to confession, assist in the holy Sacrifice of the Mass and receive Holy Communion in which you receive Christ.
I happen to like Catholic Mass very much. But I notice very few people EVER going to confession before they partake of the Eucharist.

I think you misunderstood the post. DNF was saying that many priests, lay, nuns etc would be ex-communicated or ostracized (like myself) for questioning the heirarchy (authority) of the vatican II new order church.
Yes, there was many traditional catholics being excommunicated at the same time pedophile priests were bein g protected and their sins condoned.
Yes, God is the authority. As Christians we have a responsibility to God to not be indifferent to sin.
Thank you. However, as far as sin goes, I believe it is more important for me to worry about my own sins rather than those of other people.

Then again I'm of a very Liberal Based "sect" of Christianity. Unlike most Fundamentalists I don't believe in "witnessing" to people who haven't asked. IMO EVERYONE is part of God's Creation and purpose, Christian or otherwise.

I try very hard not to play God or question the system this world operates under by His will. IMO Karma is part of God's "plan". Personally I have found most Wiccans to be more "christain" than most self professed Christians.

Traditional Catholics don't even consider them their leaders. Some traditional Catholics even believe that the Papal seat has been empty for some time (sedevacantists)
and can't go along with sins of Rome.
However, the majority of traditional Catholics believe the seat is not empty. Yes, there is a Pope. We can't go along with him because of poor leadership and terrible sins either but we do pray for his Conversion. Traditional Catholics are not indifferent to sin and sexual abuse against innocent children and people.
Go to traditio.com to get better information or Our Lady of the Rosary is good too. and of course Pray to God for guidance and protection.
I pray to God, the Mother and Father of us all.

I have some exposure to the Evangelical Catholic Church.(The Evangelical Catholic Church is an Independent Catholic Church which is theologically Lutheran, embracing the Augsburg Confession (often termed High Lutheran).

Our Mother who is within us
we celebrate your many names.
Your wisdom come,
your will be done,
unfolding from the depths
within us.
Each day you give us all that we need.
You remind us of our limits
and we let go.
You support us in our power
and we act in courage.
For you are the dwelling place within us,
the empowerment around us,
and the celebration among us,
now and forever. Amen

Because you needed to go to a real Catholic church. My church which is an independent chapel; not associated with diocese. Our priest is always preaching about the salvation of souls to heaven..It is a shame that we never received decent catholic education when we were younger. go to traditio.com to continue your education.

Was the catholic mass in english or latin?

Also, the evangelical lutheran gives communion to babies?

At our chapel, many go to confession before communion or they don't receive communion. Sometimes, we have confessions after mass depending on priest's schedule. We have priests from different states fly in to offer Mass until we can get permanent priest.

Thank you. In the 70's I came across this as well. Perhaps you've seen it.

I've never attended a Tridentine Mas but have been to a Greek Orthodox one. The R.C.C. masses I have been to have been mostly in English but with some Latin as well.

Your church sounds like it's doing well for you. And for itself since it can afford to fly in "celebrity" priests.

Namaste

To Tara: The Greek Orthodox Church near me recites part in English and parts in Greek. Which to me makes sense since many of the tracts in the Modern Bible were translated from Greek to Latin.

Wasn't clear in my last post on that.

Blessed be.
