My grandmother has brought many fur coats from Silvermans in the past she speaks very highly of them. Most of her coats are still there in a special vault. I plan on buying my first fur from there soon.

It's one thing if you kill an animal for food-to survive-. But to kill an animal (and not in a pleasant way) simply to wear it's fur? That's just cruel and vain. There are too many alternatives in this day and age. There's no good excuse for this. 70 years of torturing animals is long enough. Time to close your doors, Silverman.

Stop hating cause y'all are BROKE and can't afford it. People having been wearing furs since the cavemen days. The Silverman family is just making an honest living.

Recently I witnessed a represenative from P E T A confront a young lady wearing a exotic fur coat , she was asked do you know how many innocent animals had to die for you to wear that fur ? And the young lady replied , do you know how many rich animals I had to screw to wear this fur ?

Cavemen didn't have a choice. Big difference. Slave owners/traders were making an honest living, too. So did companies who employed child labor. Didn't make it right.

They also ate the meat of those animals and used all parts of it. I wonder if the silvermans know what wine goes with silver fox?

So she spends a lot of money on furs and then leaves them at the store in a vault!? Makes perfect sense! Are you going to leave your dead animals in their vault, too!?

Furs are sickening, its one thing if you live in an extremely cold area of the world, but there isn't any need for them in Virginia thats for sure.

Republicans are sickening, it's one thing if you live in a fantasy world, but there isn't any need for them in Virginia, that's for sure.

Thanks.

here's some undercover footage of a fur farm. Watch it if you can stomach it or if you think there is nothing wrong with wearing fur. Whether you agree with PeTA or not, they get some hideous cruelty exposed. Anal electrocution? Sickening.

I just watched the video and I hope the fur lovers do the same. If it doesn't evoke feelings of sadness and guilt in them something is missing in their Psyche. Thanks for the link.

Congratulations to Silverman's Furs for staying in business, especially over the past twenty years, despite the mad antics of the animal "rights" cult and their (occasionally criminal but mostly just clueless) zealots. Furs are a legal commodity whether you like it or not. Furs are also "green" as a renewable, sustainable resource whether you wish to believe it or not. Anti-fur cultists know very little about the fur business or the ownership and care of furs. They only know to regurgitate the hyped-up lies and myths spun by PeTA and their ideological spin-offs, passing off images from staged videos as a universal truth. The Haywood Jablowmie comment is an excellent example of how an anti-fur cultist can be cruel to humans (i.e. anti-Semitic) for the "love" of animals, but I am not surprised as the Nazis were great animal-lovers. The Third Reich was the first modern state to grant rights to animals in 1933. Indeed, how much of the anti-fur movement, which seems to have begun in the UK, has a root in the anti-Semitism of the British National Party because many of the pioneering furriers/ fur workers were Jewish?

Stalking me now troll? Let me explain something to you little boy. If you have a unregistered name. Like you do, JJ Wilson, and then you register it.(Don't worry you couldn't figure out how to do that.) Topix is smart enough (unlike you) to see it came from the same IP address and it goes back and adds all your posts to the number. So you see little insecure boy I had "numbers" when I registered. You bore me in your acts to discredit me. You're out of your league kid. You're just showing your ignorance.Yawn.
