It would be nice to have peace. That's what my father and other men who serve in World War II wanted. Father suffered from post traumatic stress disorder and during that time period he was told to 'shake it off and be a man.' It's hard to shake off the memories of many lives who died in his platoon, needlessly. Father and many other men took drugs prescribed by American doctors and had to live with the side effects along with their families. Read more:

Unfortunately, the Palestinian extremist do not want Israel to exist and the Israeli extremist want all of the land in the area as their greater Israel. Maybe the moderates amongst each of the peoples, with help from the international communities, will find peace for their people.

I do hope for peace in the middle east. I don't think the Palestinians are entirely wrong. However, to deny the holocaust is despicable! It's a slap in the face to jthe jewish community and I hope that is not the common belief among Iranians or others in the region.

Is it 2016 yet? I can't take Obama's arrogance. Speech after speech, after speech, after speech. It's always an apology for what a lousy place America was until he came down from the heavens and assumed the Oval Office, and now that HE'S in there, the world can finally become the place God intended it to be.

He didn't ask the middle eastern countries to release political dissidents. He didn't ask them to stop stoning women to death for trying to educate themselves. He didn't ask the middle eastern citizens to help us fight the extremists who decapitated Daniel Pearl. And he didn't remind the Muslim world that Americand have bled and died to help Muslims in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan (we helped them fight the Russians), Jordan...

Maybe Obama needs to take US History 101. Because I don't know what country he's talking about when he describes America, and I've had a bellyful after only 4 months...

Yeah. That approach would work wonders. Forget diplomacy. Don't bother with the olive branch. Just get in there and ask or rather, tell them to do this or than AND then, we'll be friends.

I'm certainly glad Mr Obama knows better.

Oh OK. So being HONEST isn't a good strategy, but giving them a big hug is going to solve everyhting? Ask Jimmy Carter how well that strategy worked for him.

We're not perfect, and no rational American ever claimed that we were. But we've done more to help our fellow human beings than any country in the history of our planet. There's nothing wrong with reminding the Muslim worl sthat we're not the enemy.

So, you think Obama's approach of appeasement will work? The Israelis gave the West Bank to the Palestinians. The Israelis gave the Gaza Strip to the Palestinians. Those were HUGE concessions. Did it stop Hamas?

How old are you? Does your Mommy know you're using her computer?

Mr Obama "knows better"? During his European apology tour, he asked our European pals for 2 things - toops in Afghanistan, and stimulus spending. They laughed in his face. The European Union won't agree to take a single prisoner from Gitmo. So how well is this new approach working so far?

"Don't bother with an olive branch"???

Do you really htink no one has ever offered these people an olive branch before? You think the Messiah was the first to coceive of that?

Americans FOUGHT with Muslims against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Americans FOUGHT with Muslims to kick Iraq out of Kuwait.

On the eve of 09/11, Pres Bush made a point to mention that the hijackers were not true Muslims, and that Islam is a beautiful religion.

You go try to hug any member of Al Queda. Tell him you understand why he hated the pre-Obama America. And he'll cut your head off on Al Jazeera.

Put the Kool Aid down for a second and join the real world, can you?
