Stay away from Charley Thao's Nutratose from Techmedica, Micronutra, Nanonutra, Dr Don's Health and Xymetry or from any products to do with True Value Media's (TVM) advertising. By what ever name it takes (Nutratose), it's making people violently sick. Scary thing is, if it was what they claim it is, it shouldn't make you sick-Rumor is, the stuff is likely "laced." In fact the Federal courts busted the so called formulator "Dr." Charles C. Thao for NOT being a real doctor after all-It's allll over the news.

Hi,
What is with Nanonutra website. It`s down for several days now? I`m from Europe so I really don`t know what is going on there.
Is Vivarol really a scam? I don`t know who to belive. Isn`t Vivarol FDA approved?

I also would like some genuine clarification on the situation regarding Nanonutra and particularly Vivarol. My mother and I bought Vivarol a few weeks ago and, as we felt it was doing us some good (certainly no bad side effects at all), tried to re-order last week. Obviously the site has been down and now people are also slagging off the product, so it would be good to hear from a source, that hasn't got a vested interest or a grievance, as to what is happening. Has anyone got a web link to further info (apart from the indictments which I have read)?

So, what happens if Techmedica Health sends a refund check and it bounces.......?
Who then is held accountable for Micro Nutra refunds? Or is the joke on me and there are no refunds.

Wow, this is an entertaining forum! My two cents I have been using Mannatech supplements for 4 years as a customer. I was pretty healthy before glyconutrients and even more so now. I have seen enough of an improvementto know that i will never NOT take glyconutrients,(Mannatech being my first choice). I also have grown to hate my job so I have recently decided to pursue the business aspect of Mannatech. I'm not sure where everybodies negativity towards MLM comes from. I have witnissed many business success stories over the years and have seen first hand how MLM can change a persons life in so many ways. Personally I'm tired of working a 50 hour work week with only two weeks of vacation. It isn't so hard recommending these products to the people you meet every day and you just need a few interested parties to develope a business!

Techmedica-Tony Pham, Gary Osborne, Beryl Galer and Yang Leng, plus the so-called DOCTOR Thao ... Nutratose ...it's all a lie.

People were getting sick because "you guys" REFUSED to take responsibility for product control. Not to mention here, that Charles C. Thao was not a doctor and couldn't have formulated anything more complex than pancake batter ...

Have you ever heard of a "Ponzi Scam??" Well, that's where someone starts with trusting people to represent a business and then, after it builds a business in the community, it turns and stabs everyone in the back.

Betraying the trust of the community that made its success possible, the scam just changes names, and, or, moves on to another community.

Even after a federal indictment, all you guys just keep playing your corrupt little shell game. Call me a disgruntled employee-I have reason to be. But just because you lied, stole and deceived the hard working people of Grand Rapids and ripped off hundreds of thousands of on-line customers .. I'm sure I'm not the only "disgruntled" person out here.

I feel sorry for those who are still there, trying to keep their incomes to support their families. Times are hard. The people that know the truth about Tony T. Pham and his regime have either resigned, like myself, or they were fired because the main bank accounts were seized.

Pham and his Phamaceuticals, what can I say? His relationship with the employees was awful- he was a martinet, a tar tar, he was a dictator and a demon.

The 3 years I worked with him was Hell on Earth. Pham would never lower himself to explain anything to anyone, he was constantly angry and tormented those around him.

Pham's regime blatantly violated every rule in the book, risky the health and welfare of countless people. For the record, we all know he sued Mannatech only for the press-it gave him the velocity he needed to pull his ponzi scam off-

Today, he is still playing a shell game with the United States Federal government. People like Pham need to be shut down for the good of the Country ... I mean let's get serious here, this guy was contracting people to bottle the products in their homes and basements-does that sound like someone that should be allowed to be in business?

Every venture these guys have been involved with crashed at the expense of the public. Don't take your eyes off this bunch of hustlers-

Oscar,

I remember those days too! What probably amazed me more than Tony's inability to communicate with anyone, was his blatant nose thumbing to the FDA. He would laugh whenever it was brought up in a meeting and his cocky tone would attempt to shift the conversation to some other b.s. about marketing.(who's laughing now?)It also amazed me to see the countless hundreds of returned packages from customers that learned quickly this was all smoke and mirrors. It upset me to see these partially opened bottles sent to another unsuspecting customer. Who knows what was inside those bottles after being they were returned?! Why would they take a large plastic barrel of pills and package them into various bottles with names like Nutratose, Diamaxol, etc? It was all the same stuff.....wow! W I am so glad I got out of there once I realized this hoax.

I called for a refund for Candidol since there is no way of knowing if the product is ligit or not. Because this company was charged w/ fruadulent practices I requested that my s&h be refunded as well. It took asking for a supervisor to finally get the s&h refunded but then I was told to return the product at my expense and I refused. I then spoke to Pauline Kelly, Dir of Sales and All she and the other CSR did was to tell me that the company is fine and that they were never shut down, blah, blah, blah. WHen I explained to her that I'm not interested in any of that because of the fraud charges and that I shouldn't be expected to incur any more expense in returning the product she then said that I was a nut job and refused to refund my money. I was told to read the return policy but my response to that was "I don't care about the return policy on a company that has been charged with fruadulent practices".

I'll contact the BBB of Detroit, MI next.

Who wouldn't pay 3.00 to ship something back for a full refund + the original shipping charge? You cant buy something from walmart and if it don't fit expect them to send a currier to pick it up. You would incur the expense of returning the product.

Wow! What a forum! I am almost 73 and I have been taking Ambrotose (from Mannatech) for about 18 months and the energy I have gained is simply unbelievable. I also have not had any type of illness during this time, including even a little sniffle. I have been able to discontinue all of my drugs but I couldn't live without the Mannatech products. I take Ambrotose (glyconutrients), PLUS (hormone support), Phytomatrix (natural phytonutrients/vitamins), GI-Zyme (for digestion) and GI-Pro (for digestion). I also use SPORT after working out and Bounce-Back in the morning (also for working out). I work out three hours a week with a trainer and take four fitness classes. Can't imagine it is the same me because now I can almost do anything.

So if these products are placebos, how come the $5000 worth of doctor suggested supplements I took before finding Mannatech didn't work?

The only difficulty I found in getting older is that my energy was winding down. I had been a 24/7 type executive and found that I couldn't do that any more. But now, bring it on!

Also, note that Mannatech's Ambrotose patent was upheld in the Markman hearing so all the other "want-a-be" Ambrotose products had better watch out. We will be going to court to stop the infringement.

Todd Faasse you are the liar. You have not paid tax to the IRS for the last 10 years. The IRS is after you. It is a good thing that you and your friend Chris Hankinson are hiding. The IRS is looking for you both.

I know charles and tony quite well. I think the plan was to scam all the $$$ they (charles and his wife) and leave the country with all of it and never return. Thao lied to me countless times and I warned him repeatedly that Tony was going to bring down the whole candy store. He was making so much money that he just ignored me. Thao has a legal defense fund set up!! It is where he whines for special treatment and begs for lyour money.

Todd Faasse was a fake and big liar at Techmed(true Value, etc all the other dang names that Tony, Vicky Deleon and Gary and others came up with) Tod doesn't pay the IRS and even these others mentioned above have hid money from the IRS also. They over 4 years made tons of cash off people from all over the World, and only mentioned parts of what they made. The stuff is junk and was bottled by Nick and Eric out of their Apartment Building at York Creek, Apts. And when they were not their they would be hiding in Storage Units to hide from the LAW,and FDA. Tony was a SNAKE and its about time the Snake got was coming to him. Vicky made up the Labels and names for the fake pills. About time they got caught.

I help someone who puts together a great range of glyconutrients. How would he possibly be infringing on Mannatechs copyright? He has put together his own formulation. Does he need to feel threatened by this mighty company?

It would be nice for someone like Dr. Gene to get his facts straight before publishing these untruths. Classic or the Standard Ambrotose is still the best Glyconutrient on the market that is patent protected. This is the best products of its kind on the market! There is more solid science behind this unique product than most nutritional products!

Dr Gene Snelling wrote:
I think true law suit infrigement is one thing;however, competition is another thing. Mannatech got mad when a laboratory chose Glycomannan over Ambrotose to do some clinical tests for glyconutrients, so they decide to sue them as they did a company in Great Britain(which I do not think ever went to trial), knowing that these small companies do not have the funds to sustain a law suit even when they are not infridgeing. Mannatech has the big bucks, and know by the time the money is expended by these little guys, they have got to go out of business, even if they have done nothing wrong. Meanwhile, Mannatech gets to continue charging ridiculously high prices for their product because of the MLM, and the people who really need the product can not get it because it is so overpriced. These companies serve a real purpose. They produce a better product than Mannatech at a more reasonable price, and Mannatech is forced to improve their product to "keep up" which is exactly what just happened with Mannatech pulling their Advanced Ambrotose off the market and replacing it with a new improved Ambrotose and adding more Aloe Extract and decreasing that ridiculous rice flour that they were using as a filler. Their classic Ambrotose (capsules) still has 75 to 90% rice flour. Some Mannatech reps have discontinued marketing the classic because of the filler bewing so much and the nutrient being so little. Oh well, so much for free enterprize.
