Obama sees higher risk of a nuclear attack

Full story: LA Daily News

Hours after North Korea's missile test, President Barack Obama on Sunday called for new U.N. sanctions and laid out a new approach to American nuclear disarmament policy - one intended to strengthen the United States and its allies in halting proliferation.

What a stupid fool! I'm convinced he is suffering from a severe mental disease...megalomania! He is convinced that he has God-like powers and whenever he utters a word...the whole world listens and falls into lock-step!

What he doesn't realize is that behind closed doors, the leaders of Western and Eastern Europe are snickering about his incompetence. The media in the US is spinning everything from Afghanistan and the fact that the NATO countries told him to stuff it...they're not sending troops....to the fact that they think he is too un-schooled in world history to run our country!

The UK Telegraph had a great editorial...saying he overstayed his welcome and was becoming too long winded and a huge bore! The article also said his speeches were 'all about himself'!

Unlike the US, the elites of the UK educated, witty, insightful, and do not suffer fools lightly! They are not fans of BO!

Hey anonymous or should I call you Mr. AM Talk Radio or The Fox News Guy -

The UK thought that our last president was a complete fool without smarts and so did 70% of the American people. You call a guy who graduated at the top of his class at Harvard and the one who beat your guy in the election incompetence. Give me a break. You need to spend less time drinking the AM talk radio, FoxNews, Rush Fatboy koolaid and paying better attention.

Your guy Bush destroyed this country in 8 years and left us with a phony war, bad economy, mortgage meltdown, lax boarder security, increased national debt, higher unemployment and less respect worldwide.

You attacking the guy who's cleaning up Bush's mess is funny. You have not provided any facts in your post, just insults from the republican play book. I think republican oath says something like "If you don't have any good ideas, just start insulting the person who does or just make up stuff and hope it sticks."

McCain and Palin lost the election...get over it. We are tired of right wing nut jobs tearing down someone for trying to provide better solutions to problems your party created.

BTW, the republicans provided a budget last week without any numbers..LOL

Go Palin in 2012...Ha!

"In a strange turn of history, the threat of global nuclear war has gone down, but the risk of a nuclear attack has gone up," Obama told a huge crowd in Prague's central square."
----------

Oh, crap.

Just when I was feeling "hope and change".

What a downer.

What Obama is really saying is
if we are attacked with nuclear weapons
we will surrender immediately,
hence ending the chance of nuclear war.

That's how a REAL leader thinks.

That's the "change" we're talking about.

We can all "hope" that our city won't be hit.

I'm surprised he's not signing
an unconditional surrender now
rather than waiting for the 'mushroom roar'.

What a pathetic excuse for a man,
let alone "Leader of the Free World".

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd wet his pants
at the first showdown with our adversaries.

What a man.

Pass the Kool-ade.

I need a buzz.

You man Bush was a great example. Let's see -- 9/11 happen on his watch when the CIA gave him a brief that said an attach was being planned with plans. He started a phony war for oil, ruin our economy, refused to give financial help to 9/11 emergency workers, tripled our national debt.... should I go on? The only thing coming from the right wing these days are insults. No wonder you party is getting smaller...the party stupidity.

I find very few republicans debat without using there AM Radio/FoxNews let just throw insult strategy. Prove me wrong an try writing a post with some ideas and not insults, or may some facts would help. Have you notice that all right winger buddies are using the same talking points from AM talk radio and Fox. How about an original thought!

After 60 days in office, you seem to saying that President Obama is responsible for the mess that was created by your guy.

You should have had someone read that article to you and explain what it said in simpler words than the newspaper used which is 5th grade reading level. If a terrorist somehow obtains a nuclear weapon, they are more likely to use or threaten to use it than a country which can be retaliated against. Leaders of countries understand that should they use a nuclear weapon they will be obliterated. Terrorists don't share those same concerns. If Tim McVeigh had used a nuclear weapon in OK, who would you advocate bombing in revenge?

You must have missed the news that the war on Afghanistan started in 2001 and is on-going. Maybe we would still have allies in Afghanistan if Bush hadn't alienated the world with his bullying and insults. Maybe it would have been over by now if Bush hadn't pulled so much military power out to attack Iraq who wasn't a threat. We had the world on our side immediately after 9/11 but Bush did the nearly impossible and turned that support to opposition with his lies, hubris and stupidity, aided and abetted by people like you screaming "We're #1!" while the rest of the world shook their heads and walked away.

Anyone see Breaking Bad last night? If you do not know this program it is on AMC and is about a high school chemistry teacher who gets cancer and figures out the only way to pay for everythign is to make crystal meth and sell it thru a young dealer/entrepreneur. The young dealer had an ounce stolen from him by a couple of low-lifes and tried to pass it off by saying with was business loss equivalent to shoplifting at WalMart, or something like that. The teacher insisted that just letting it go would only tempt more low-lifes to do the same thing. That is what we have with letting any terrorist supporting nation work on nukes.

As with last night's Breaking Bad, the only way to deal with it is to destroy the bad guys' desire to do that crap. And gutless Obamalama wont even shoot down a missile that has the potential of delivering a nuclear weapon to the United States! After all, we don't want North Korea to drop out of the pointless meeting of six nations, now do we.

When are these paople going to get it - sanctions against Korea for over 50 years?

Attacks are a forgone conclusion. Remember the most powerful person in Washington represents a cowardly little enclave that doesn't even allow the ROTC to operate in the City by the Bay.

I'm happy you are not in charge of things. You don't shoot down a test missle that's not in your airspace unless you are ready to start another war. That cowboy mentality that you have is the reason we are in a messy war right now in Iraq.

By the way George Bush never shoot down a test missile from North Korea and China that had the potential of delivering a nuclear weapon to the United States. Is he also gutless?? This sounds like a little of the double standard accountability to me.

I do agree with you that sanctions don't work unless everyone is willing not to do business with North Korea.

Hey, FactChecker (a.k.a. Mr. MSNBC ), your man who graduated at the top of his class thought that there were 57 states in the Union when campaigning last fall for president.( Hint: Pres. Barack "Mr.Teleprompter" Obama...there are 50 states and your state, Hawaii, was the last admitted to the Union in 1959.) He's a great leader, just ask William Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright...oops, sorry, he quit attending Jerry Wright's church after 20 years. You mentioned the economy...under Bush the DJIA went up as high as 14,100 before the Democrats took control of the House and Senate in Jan. 2007 and ruined the economy.( Just ask your buddies, Barney "Elmer Fudd" Frank and Chrissie Dodd...both were in charge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.)

Here we go again, Mr. FactChecker...a.k.a. MSNBC...Where was your boy, Bill Clinton when we were first attacked in 1993 at the World Trade Center? Then, he ignored the attacks on the 2 Embassies in the Sudan in the mid-1990's.( Oh yeah, he did respond by firing a Cruise Missle at an aspirin factory in the Sudan...or was it to take our focus off his "meetings with Monica Lewinsky" and the cigars???) Now we have a president in Barack Obama who wants to increase the national debt 10 fold!!! Obama hopes to increase the stimulus bill by the trillions and in ten years have our national debt up to nearly $10 trillion more than ALL US Presidents COMBINED!!!!! WHAT A MORON!!!
