This guy testified under oath and lying under oath is punishable by jail time so he's probably telling the truth.
The long ride may be over for Lance, too bad. Even with the doping he is a great athlete. Marion Jones is proof that testing negative over and over again means NOTHING! |

There is still NO evidence that Armstrong doped. European cycling and especially the french hated Armstrong. They would have loved nothing more than to catch him. They were all over him during the season and off season. Seriously. Following him around. The idea that he conspired with the head of a cycling organization that hated him and wanted him to fail to throw out a test is insane. They would test him more than once a day, and randomly at that. A French lab was once caught trying to frame him years ago. Believe me, if he doped, he would have long ago been caught. And how were all these other a-holes caught and he wasn't? They all have failed drug tests on more than one occasion. HE HAS NEVER FAILED A DRUG TEST. Even when the European cycling people wanted to discredit him more than anything.

Marion Jones was never tested to the insane extent that Lance Armstrong has been. I'm telling you, they wanted to get him for years and years. Obviously, they still do. Show me some evidence that is not tied to people was stand to make loads of money off of this and I'll eat my words. |

And testifying under oath didn't stop Marion Jones or Barry Bonds from lying. |

Ugh, I didn't want to watch this because Lance Armstrong is one of my heroes. Read 'It's Not About the Bike' and remember a chapter of it denying drug use. After watching the 60 Minutes show, though, I am sad and disappointed because it's obvious that everything that Hamilton guy said is true.
A very sad and disappointing day, indeed. |
