why should I be interested?

Listen I'm going to be dead serious when I ask this question about the Tour. Year after year after year the doping allegations hang over the tour like a blanket. Year after year the winner is under suspicion or more over actually found out to be using PED's. Why is this year any different? Why should I care one whit about these guys who most of them are trying to stay one step ahead of the officials trying(and failing) to keep this sport clean? I have completely lost my interest at all in watching this event. Lance Armstrong is the Barry Bonds of cycling. His records have no meaning whatsoever in cycling. But they will remain as will Bonds' records and what a complete shame. The majesty and the dedication this sport used to represent is totally gone to me. My guess is 50% or more of the participants this year are on some performance enhancing drugs and you'll find them near the top of the leader board. Again what a shame. Can anyone give me one good reason I should feel different?
