Armstrong could never leave well enough alone

Lance Armstrong could never leave well enough alone. For all his other outsized traits, that restlessness still defines him. Full Story

Kinda ironic this "journalist" blasts Lance for the jersey, yet the intent if his participation was to further awareness for cancer survivors, research etc. Nevermind the petty details though. Just write more junk.

Journalists, generally speaking, are not cyclists or sportsmen but PIGS, looking for ANY trough where they can dig up COPY. Disgusting.

Raymond, you know well that this will never change and it has actually gotten worse with technology.

This statement is kind like saying the FRENCH really like to stereotype. Or the French, generally speaking, are a bunch of arrogant douche bags. I am not saying that is the case...I am just saying one should not stereotype.

I concur. I also believe that most people make statements based on belief and not fact. Or worse, the regurgitate what they've heard on FOX News. With all the technology available you would think people's opinions of things would be more based on fact. However, there will always be those who think they know everything and want to share the breadth of their knowledge (or lack there of) with anyone that will listen. My dad had a saying that comes to mind...opinions are like a**holes...everyone has one and everyone else's stinks. We are all entitled to our opinions, they just sound more intelligent when based on fact.

Of course Lance was doping up. Are we to believe that while so many were blood doping, doing HGH and other steroid based PEDs that Lance was pure and clean? He paid off his ex-wife to be quiet and now he has to hope that no one else has direct physical evidence that he used PEDs

Martina you hit it right on the nose. His ex-wife actually saw him do it and he also told her that he did it but money talks.

So, you must have the proof that took place. Kindly provide the proof here.

Than again, please provide the proof that you are a cyclist as well since you do not talk like an experienced cyclist.

Is there any scientific eveidence that shows life threatening side effects of steroids, a direct correlation? I have yet to find any REAL evidence from research with this result. Am I going to recommend the use of steroids - no. But let's be honest and look at the actual scientific research and statistical analysis. Compare research and statistics for the use of steroids and possible lethal side effects versus other illegal substances such as marijuana. I think one would be surprised at what REAL research concludes. How many times have you taken a cold medicine to have more relief when exercising - or used caffeiene, a known performance enhancing drug, to get out on that early morning ride?

I ALWAYS drink a mug of STRONG coffee before a ride. And afterwards, and anytime during the day and sometimes at night. I love coffee.

I'm surprised that any sport fan wouldn't remember "Football Player-Lyle Alzado," since he had admitted to using steroids before dis death.

Google drug related deaths and you'll find plenty of information.

You'll find that most sports athletes avoid those in order to stay in form with their sport.
