The leading figures in world cycling called on Friday for a "sacred union" to work against doping by increasing tests and by suspending riders involved in current doping scandals. via Reuters

Ivan Basso is to be commended, I hope to see him ride again soon...

It would be very naive to believe any sport remains untainted, especially with such hugh rewards on offer...

Stop persecuting the riders...

What about the riders who organise their own blood doping? What about RSR-13 and other doping agents...can this be stopped?

Damn, dudes and dudettes!

I thought WADA/AMA was instigated to obviate the need for 'this': whatever they define it as...

It's too damn bad that the men mentioned didn't address the need to reform WADA, as is being discussed this summer, in anticipation of their fall session.
