A mountain top finish?...

How about a START in Estes, and the finish up top at Alpine visitor center? All roads to Estes could remain open if such is the case...

As Estes got the short end of the stick, as compared to other mountain towns, and still faithfully executed their obligation to the race committee...perhaps our Town Administrator & Council could leverage USA Pro Challenge for a better route next year.

Perhaps RMNP would allow a venue that might possibly benefit the Town of Estes Park....I believe we accommodate RMNP plenty with free "interceptor" parking(the Stanley Fairgrounds)along with many other historical concessions...

Imagine the helicopter aerial shots above the main part of our valley !

How about an Estes to Grand Lake route?

RMNP could shuttle in spectators. There would be plenty of parking and open roads on both sides.

And it would be pretty much the ultimate road bike race.
