It's tough competing on a level playing field. He's riding without the luxury of having the undivided attention of team mates (and maybe a little chemical help?).

No matter, the guy is tough as nails. He's got nothing left to prove to anyone. Doping controversies are in the past, and quite frankly should stay there at this point. I've pretty much made up my own mind about what was going on the last 10 years.

If he truly pulls another Tour de France out of his a** this July, I'll be the first one singing his praises.

Lance never tested positive and yet you assume he doped. You suggest that doping controversies should remain in the past and yet you insinuate that he may have doped. If doping controversies should remain in the past, why insinuate in a current post that he may have doped?

So, using your own logic, do you think that some of the posters on topix, although having never tested positive, are clueless?

He maybe clean this time around. A couple of blood bags during the Tour and you will see a new man.

Hi Gus. Yes by any standard in cycling Lance is a remarkable cyclist. Now a top pro coming to "old age". Good luck to him. As you stated, you ca'nt keep an old pro down. It is my view that in the giro his riding has been comendable.

Cycling fans, we have our first positive. This A Sample came back positive for "clueless".
Do you request a B Sample analysis?

Well, it looks like we have our Astana answer.

I just hope that Lance won't drop in the GC now that he is riding for the Condor. I would love to see him on the podium.

Question for the group: Do you think Lance has it in him to get a stage win?

Start your posting!

Well... a Stage Win for Lance?? My early prediction was Lance would win at Verbier because after that he didn't have a chance (Tues: no; Weds: no; Thurs (TT): maybe; Fri: no; Sat (Ventoux): doubtful)
I think Lance achieved 'mortality' yesterday, to go with his previous 'immortality':-)
But watch out for Roselyne Bachelot: in her mind, Lance is GUILTY of EVERYTHING and she means to turn mountains over so as to prove that.
She's a silly Minister.

Of course Rainymand can't confirm this, but last year, Madame the Minister (here's a photo)...

http://relaistelephonique.blog.lemonde.fr/fil...

... apparently spent the day in the car with Bernard Hinault, and all I can remember, when said journalist asked said Minister what 'he was like', her reply was typically à la Française: "oh la la LA LA..."

:-)

(but as we used to say in COLO: "I wouldn't F**k her with your, Dick"

He is older and they are checking for drugs with better detection. The man was dirty he was using designer drugs that were hard to detect---reliable sources have known that. Ask Greg Lemond one of the most respected cyclist ever.

Snowflake is about to lose his Greg-Lemond Hymen... heh heh

Sorry dude... we're mostly NOT in favour of the last five years of G-L's life (or words)... people who use the phrase 'reliable sources' should either LINK to them, or ... or...(I had an 'or' a minute ago... heh heh)

What ever came out of his lawsuit against TREK, the complaint of which was written by a guy who would've flunked out of our law school?

DON'T open anything, just eyeball the ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN documents filed with the Court, since April 2008!!!!!!!!!!
