Strickland is hardly a liberal. In fact he's a DINO.

Yea. I would say that Strickland's best source of money would be out of state.

You know I would take offense to that comment, but the way his administration is playing out, he is right of center on many issues (environment, workers rights). I knew he was a conservative democrat going into the election, but he is a little bit too conservative for my tastes; but he is better than the alternative.

Just like Mike Coleman never being found in his office Ted Strickland obviously doesn't find too many priorities to keep him in Ohio.

Why not elect someone who is other than governor in name only?

He knows that he's lost support in Ohio so where else can he run? Smart to go to a largely conservative state to try and steal away some of their money.

There is no cash left in Ohio. Smart move Teddy. Now why don't you stay away from Ohio so John Kasich can fix all the problems you couldn't handle.

I hope some of Lances success rubbed off on Teddy instead of Teddy's mediochrity rubbing off on Lance. Hey Ted are you forgetting that you have a couple of inmates to put down back here in Ohio?

Does anyone know if I am, as a taxpayer, paying for these trips? I'm not sure I want my tax money going toward helping Strickland's re-election.

Wow, Strickland couldn't speak with Armstrong when he was recently in Ohio for Pelotonia.

The article said "Strickland was on another in a series of what are called "party-building" trips out of state to raise money for his re-election bid next year and for the party." Sorry folks but in my opinion Ohio is in an emergency economic state and I resent our governor only working 3 day work weeks. If he wants to attend fundraisers for himself and the Democrat party then he needs to do this off of the taxpayer's dime by attending in the evenings and weekends. In fact maybe he should forfeit his salary for those days. I would have a little more respect if he was in Texas to pitch what Ohio could do for Texas Instruments as they look to expand their business. Strickland is only in it for the politics though.

O lord........Do we already have to think about another republican reign to get us back to where we were at the end of 2005!? I can hardly wait for the magnitude of those problems!

You paid for a catholic faith-based guy/executive in Strickland's office who eventually was arrested for being a pimp so i would say yea.
Strickland should hang it up. Budget shortfalls, no honesty, late audit reports, what else go on...a hippo would do more.

Kasich will do more: no plan how to fix things, get rid of the income tax, do his best to pivot to social issues to distract from his ineptitude when it comes to economics. Hey, Strickland has my vote.

No you moron, you're not paying for this. His campaign pay for those trips! I like how you Republican hacks like to spew about things you don't know the first thing about. The man more than likely works 7 days a week he's not allowed to use any of his time and money to campaign? Do you ever take a day off? Get a grip.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Sagittarius

Slow down! You're trying to do too much and it's driving you - and everyone else - up the wall. What's more, if you're in too much of a hurry you'll start to become accident-prone and that will make you even more het up. Try to take any setbacks or domestic mishaps in your stride, otherwise you'll end the day feeling like a nervous wreck.
