Only if Paul Kimmage responds back and can provide the proof to back up his words, which he may well be able to do considering that he's about the only one who really takes the time in researching the problem related to doping.

He certainly wrote an interesting piece about Team GB and Bradley Wiggens, which seems to be along similar lines of what many experienced cyclists have also been seeing of this rider and team as it's transparency seems to be changing and closing.

Considering the UCI doesn't want to to encourage riders in coming forth and providing detailed information about doping in cycling just shows that doping isn't going to go away just yet.

The UCI is unbelievable !! One thinks of large birds with their heads in sand whenever the uCI is mentioned. Not unlike many other sporting organisations i suppose, fifa to name just one. It is so sad that a fantastic sport where participants put their heart and soul into competing has been sailing the pacific without a rudder for so long. Just think where the sport could be with a competent governing body to steer it, through the last three decades of growth.
At least some of the riders, who are far too often quiet or looking the other way have voiced some support for Kimmage. About time, the omerta has lead to disgrace after disgrace from the peloton. Who are lucky their sport still exists at the level it does, offering riders a good level of prosperity in an otherwise shrinking market.
Kimmage has long been one of the few prepared to stick his head above the parapet. Which just go's to show how riddled and soiled cycling has been with the problem of doping. Because there must be (and is) many honourable and good people who have participated or had associations with cycling, presently and in the near-past. Yet they have found it difficult to find their voice when doping is mentioned. There are several reasons cited in defense of this, all cop-outs! Having clear and provable evidence of course is needed for a court of law, but if more people had spoken out amongst the cycling fraternity like kimmage the situation may have never escalated to the peak it did. The, they all cheated so it was a fair playing field is utter nonsense from every angle. Chemicals affect people differently. Cheating to win is wrong, you are in fact breaking rules. Need i go on. Kimmage should be admired and supported for his stance, he walked away once after giving up on anything ever changing. Lets not collude with the UCI in making him walk away a second time.
