@El Paso I share exactly what you say and we have haters and lovers of LA making inappropriate comments and unable to separate the issues.

Eleven months ago I lost my wife due to cancer. I do not see the connection between the fight against cancer and doping in sport. Lance may have cheated or maybe he did not but.....what he's done to help fight cancer will remain the same. That can't be taken away from him.

I'm still on my mtb and took part in the Van der Stell Pass mtb challenge this past weekend. Terrible trail for an old guy like me, first 8km was nothing but uphill on old jeep tracks which was almost washed away during the last heavy rains. Came back dirty as hell but, oh so happy because I could finish. Must say, there were some very nice down hills as well which I've used to make up some lost time and ego. And in the lucky draw I won a pizza which I donated straight away to a hungry kid.

Was a good weekend for me because my new love visited me after the race. It's good to be alive and riding!!!!

If you take the time and look, many of the athletes here in the US have come out by establishing various organizations that help many people and they have invested themselves as well as their money.

I would guess the same has happened there in the UK along with mainland Europe as well.

Just goes to show that many of the celebrities haven't forgotten where they came from nor their home communities.

Hey old man, you're supposed to get dirty when riding a mountain bike.

Hopefully your new love will be able to help you find some peace!

Cheers

Hi Chris!
Hi Gus my 'old' mate. Are you ready for some more 'deep discussion' about Guilty or not guilty? Not such heated arguments as with FL. Keep the 'jokes' coming!

Finished in the 62nd place out of 89 riders, most of them youngsters between 12 and 16 years of age. I'm a happy chappie !!

It's always good when we can appreciate what we have and cycling has always been one way of doing that.

Cheers Speedy
