I have to say this is very strange.
Last month the ROC Government said they would not allow any activists leave Cyprus ports for Gaza.
Why have they changed their minds??

I wish Cypriots stay out of the region politics all together. You have your own mess that after 36 years haven't figured out and now trying to get involved in the Palestinian conflict.

The middle east issue is a bit more complicated and not as simplistic as the Cypriots think. The mistake that the Cypriots make is that they tend to side with whoever is against the enemy of Turkey at the time. For years now, they have claimed to support the Palestinian cause but since the incident with Israel, they feel that Turkey' s enemy is Cyprus enemy and now they are friends of Israel.

Stick with what you believe and keep a firm stand. Don't switch just to stick it to Turkey. Cyprus used to keep a neutral position in the region but now, they go with the wind and all depends who the opponent of Turkey is. For your information, Turkey and Israel are friends and they both have close ties to the US. Don't believe what you read and stop flip flopping like immature fools. Use your expertise in solving your own mess which seems to be still very confusing to many of you. Haven't figured out the source of the problem, what happened and how to fix it but want to fix other countries' conflicts?

Again this dope and his stupid double talk " Cypriots should stay out of the regions politics" What hypocracy
the same could be said of Turkey.Israel has critisied Turkeys occupation on Cyprus,as well as other issues, including treatments of its minorities or don't you know? Cyprus has always had close ties with both Palestinians and the Israelis, and has diplomatic relations with both
You Turks seem to be the Problem on Cyprus, what measures have they taken to resolve the problem after 36 years? They keep saying they want equality but when given free healthcare you say yourself in other post the Greeks are stupid for "throwing their money away

Allow me to reiterate dear Greek. I gave three categories that most on this forum belong to. Guess what? You are the big winner. You are a combination of illiterate, racist, intoxicated. I also detect a bit of anger management issue but that is to be expected.

Learn dear that your enemies are not the people who have their own opinions or Turks of this forum. My comments on this thread were civil but you are incapable to write a response without insults. You justify your rudeness and stupidity by calling me a Turk. If my civil comments characterize me to be a Turk, what do your rude, stupid comments characterize you to be? Try to figure that out and refrain from responding to any of my comments. Calling people dope or Turks only portray you as the idiot racist you are.

I'll start with 3,President Christofias stated at the UN,his country needs to become more involved with middle east peace plan and world poverty.

no.2 No military Agreement with Israel, but three meetings in one month (August)foreign minister meets Lieberman in Abu Dhabi, and two meeting in Israel.Greece and Israel share military training.

no.1 Cypriots get involved in Middle East problems because of the oil exploration, and don't want to lose out. Also get involved in Russian spy collabaration.
Cypriots will sell themselves to the highest bidder.
Look at the big Qatar investment programme,Cyprus wanted to cheat the Qatar out of millions for the price of land and give the deal to a local Developer who was also bidding.
The Qatar surveyor said the land was too overprised,so now the deal is hanging in the balance...again because they were trying to pull the wool over their eyes.
But Qatar is in the big league when it comes to land and development.
Greed again ,and loss of a good neighbour.

That shows just how ignorant you must be.
Why not wait until news comes on again and discuss your points with him on a one to one.
Lets put it another way give us your say on Cypriot affairs and how the differ.
He/she knows more about Cyprus, than most do, and he/she presents it very well.
But hey..thats from another big nothing!!

You have the wrong friends and that explains a lot. If all you have in common is an enemy, your friendship is all about revenge and hatred. Not much of a friend, just two people using each other.

If you had to write a review about Limassol what would you say to people. The "I like " doesn't work. Give specifics to convince people the place is really wonderful. My review on Limassol is the following:
Beware of taxis, the are all thieves
No place to sit to enjoy the view because the motorcycles are too loud
Hotels are not worth the 300 euros average
Most restaurants are not sanitary and expensive. Many allow people to sit with beach clothing and have lousy service. Waiters hating serving and are rude and remind you the customer comes last.
Sidewalks are not for pedestrians but for cars. Pedestrians are at the mercy of idiots who have no clue of the motor vehicle rules and are not afraid to hit whoever is in their way. Monument hours are the same as government employees hours. You sleep, you miss.
Streets are full of men of all ages soliciting sex. If you tell them off, they curse in Greek.
Government buildings and most other building have no air condition in the summer.
Full of gypsies, and Greeks from mainland selling religion.
The youth are obnoxious and hateful little bullies who stare at foreigners as though they just discovered a new piggy bank.
The tourist area, in the evenings is full of drunks, loud music and motorcyclists
The beaches are not well maintained and the hotel owners are sitting in the lobby controlling everything and creeping out the tourists.
Not a place for children. No children's clubs in hotels, no road safety, too many sex clinics and nightclubs around, too many xenophobic Greeks insulting foreigners and too many young men, staring at young girls like objects.

Cyprus is extremely expensive and Limassol is not a family destination. This is my opinion and I would like to hear your convincing comments saying otherwise. Have you ever been overseas?
Have you ever been to a five star hotel in Hawaii, California or New York? IT helps when the person writing the review has something to compare it with. Sell me Limassol, as the best city in the world. I am waiting with anticipation.
