This Archbishop is too big for his boots!
He is always interfering in politics, and not a peep from the Government.
Does he know more about the Government than they would like outsiders to know?
Is that why he seems to have a free hand in running businesses, and talking politics?
He is putting a bid in for the Bankrupt Eurocypria,a company which is still looking for the missing eu35 million invested last Febuary.

And the trillions of dollars went where?
I am surprised that the ROC Government didn't have its hands tight on the purse strings.
On the other hand who is compensating the Turkish Cypriots for the land in the South that has been built on by developers?

KEO's profits have increased overnight now that the beer was used in an American porno movie. With the Church owning 20% of KEO, I would like to see that profit put in good use.

How can a Church in Cyprus have ownership in every business is beyond comprehension. They own banks, apartment buildings and so much land and of course companies that produce alcohol and much more. Are they using that wealth to help the poor, help with youth programs, rehabilitation programs for addicts or other social services? On top of it all, they hide from taxes and are part of the government.

The reason the Western world countries have separation of Church and State is because in today's world, a country is inhabited by multi-ethnic groups and has freedom of religion. If a country singles out a religion to be part of its government,it deprives its people of different religion of equal rights and equal treatment. No Muslim or a Christian of different denomination should have to be under a Greek Orthodox leader. His decisions will always favor the GC citizens and its leadership not a fair one.

Hi news, yes I read about the Keo porno ads!
It reminded me of the 3 priests from Pafos who were caught with their trowsers down in a "cabaret" bar in Athens a few years ago!

“It is his basic right and if the Turks wish to have a European course, they should behave in a European manner, respecting human rights and religious freedoms,” Chrysostomos said.

I would like a crematorium in Cyprus,is this too much to ask, there are many foreigners in Cyprus who go back to their own countries for fear that their their organs are taken out, and then buried.
I am one of them!

moy the GC they left north were 200000 ,tc left south were maybe 20000 .you can put 20000 in 200000 and have many houses extra for setlers ,but you cant put 200000 in 20000 . numbers cant be divide you get negative results thats the promblem .they south lost the north won houses very simple what you think makes sence mathematcly,
