So why don't the Cuban people rise up against their communist oppressors just as the people did in 1989 in East German, Hungary, Romania, and the other European countries with communist dictatorships did ?

Are the Cubans just wusses ?

Neither were the people of Romania. And look at the violent successful revolution in Romania when they overthrew the communist dictator Ceausescu and his regime in 1989.

Cuba had a different situation. A BRAIN DRAIN! Castro allowed the intelligent opposition to leave, leaving the apathetic, unmotivated behind. The new generation doesn't know any better. capice!

It's a nonsensical question. One has nothing to do with the other. Most communist regimes in the world were overthrown in the 1980's by their people, mostly peacefully, but sometimes violently. The surest defense against an oppressive government is an armed citizenry.

Or are you opposed to the U.S. Constitution ? The U.S. constitution is the oldest written national constitution still in effect, thus demonstrating i's success.

And when the Second Amendment was written, all able-bodied males over the age of 15 years were part of the militia by law, by mere virtue of their birth. Thus all males over the age of 15 years not only had the RIGHT to own a firearm, but were legally required to do so.

Also, guns don't kill people. Ammunition does.

Nice to see we now have two, anti Semitic, cracked Lawrooshite types to argue back and forth between themselves over their slightly varying forms of madness.

It does make for a thread that is little more than toxic waste, however.
