They are taking the path of least resistance. The US Coast Gaurd does a better job than the Border Patrol.

End the wet/dry policy .

Having moved here from NY 3 yrs ago, I have never seen such low political, city official and police standards than I have seen in Cuban run Miami-dade.

"Elena Diaz, a Cuban-American whose parents immigrated to Miami when she was a baby says,'This is the way it was in Cuba before Fidel Castro. I heard my parents talk about it that country was so corrupt. Corruption's what actually destroyed it and now they're doing the same thing here.'

That's true but as you know border patrol have their hands tied , grossly under staffed and to no fault of their own there are areas in the border such as American Indian reservation that they can not set foot on.

Maybe they did try to sail here but did not stay on course. They have put together rickity rafts thus not like they can sail a real sailboat.

Most who leave do not make it.

I don't blame the agents. I blame the politicians of both parties.

No, just temporary visas. Just long enough for them to continue their jouney to the US.

There are places that are much closer than the US,Haiti, Bahamas, Puerto Rico etc...they could go there but they know they will not get the free ride they get here. Plus they don't like indigenous and black people.
