I believe that it is an article enough tegiversado. In Cuba any person can be against the régime and she is not played neither a hair for that reason while he doesn't attack directly to the Revolution. The battle of ideas is another form of fighting against the enemies.

That is a lie! you know very well if you are against Fidel, you will be thrwon in Jail. Just ask the men that are there now! Why do you think he has his men standing on every corner? The day Cuba is free, free not only from Fidel and his core of evil men, free from all of the torture that is going on. Cuba will be ours very soon. Anyone who is Fidels age and is hospiltalized never recovers completely. That is just how life is. What's going to happen when all of the corporations start to arrive in their private jets and start setting up camp. When that day comes you will see the joy that hasn't been seen in Cuba for decades.

To All: I always admonish my students to ask three questions as they sit down to read something - Who wrote it? Why did they write it? To whom was it written and for what purpose? The True - the article is, for the most part, accurate from the writers point of view. You see, where a person is currently standing determines what they see! It is true with each of us. You know the story of the two blind men feeling an elephant? Each is touching the same object but describing a totally diffent object ie. it is a rope(tail) no, no, it is a wall (side of elephant). Stand back and take a look at the big picture, complete picture! That takes time to look at history, culture, etc. The True- Fact! In Cuba there is great freedom of expression BUT it must be within the confines, principles and philosophy of the Revolution - that includes art, music, religion, all aspects of Cuban life. Step outside that boundry and you have violated Cuban law. Your response is welcome and will be respected!

Cuban Rick: Communism is, by and large, contrary to all I believe! Some socialist concepts are not - Regarding my parents, thank God for Social Secruity!! Believe it or not, The True is expressing all that she knows and believes is true. She will not say so, she has a brain, eyes and ears, but my guess is there is a battle going on in her heart and mind. Of the Cuban students I knew and know, a few are hard-core Marxist, most just try to make sense of their world and to build a semblence of future. Give her reasonable food for thought, logical questions. If we are all honest what system is perfect? Capitalism has and does most often crush the heads of the poor. Trickle dowm economics is a fantasy just as surely as is the worker's paradise!
