Serbia has been a member of NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme since December 2006. Democratic, institutional, and defence reforms are a key focus of cooperation.

While not an aspirant for membership of the Alliance, the country is currently in discussions with NATO on deepening cooperation through the development of an Individual Partnership Action Plan.

personally i would like serbia to do a switzerland
1.stay out of nato
2.stay out of eu
3.be a politically neutral...open and free market economy

there is good reason why the brits and scandanavians do not trust a german dominated EU

Neutrality makes the most realist sense given Serbia's unique position in the region.

It would not do serbia, any good to join NATO or EU!
It is too small and will get taken advantage off!

Actually they don't have a choice if they wanted to be accepted in Eu.

Wait till Russia get wind of it.

To make Crimea case, Russia will be very interested in recognizing Kosovo without delay.

A Serbia in NATO can only be a good thing for Europe.
