Well, why don't us whities protest about the ad making us look like little whimpy wooses afraid of the big black boogie man???

Works both ways dunnit?

Personally I think the ad's stupid and an insult to the intelligence. But aren't most ads?

Anyway, seeing as I've got the typical Aussie sense of humour, appeasing the Afro-American with good ole American invented KFC is a bit evil/funny.

KFC is an American company, they are afraid of angering their customer base in the US. If you go to one in America you will usually see blacks eating there.

It is if you're a racist, they are the only ones who think that way.

What a load of crap.

Many Americans strongly and stupidly believe that any racist stereotypes regarding American blacks apply worldwide to all Muds.

1. Black people and fried chicken
2. Black people and watermelon
3. Black people and grape soda
4. Black people and any menial labor jobs that they may have traditionally dominated - for example, shoe shining. Even though the members of Louis Farrakhan's Fruit of Islam may look like hotel doormen, it is consider racist to say so. Instead, to avoid charges of racism, you must refer to them as looking like 'soldiers'.

This ad is not racist, because there is no way you can apply the stereotypes that exist in American society, with the backdrop of American history, and apply it to another cultural situation. Had it been in the U.S.? Perhaps it would be considered racist, although the truth is a lot of blacks do eat fried chicken.

white americans have been burdened with guilt over the slavery

so many of them are scared to be seen as anti dark skinned people

they even have to give away their daughters to black men who mostly are street hustlers

You know this really does sink my boat and ill tell you why. I understand that in America there is a stereotypical view that African-Americans have a deep love for fryed chicken but here in Australia we dont have that stereotypical view. So do you get what im saying. If not then ill make this simple for you, AUSTRALIA IS NOT AMERICA AUSTRALIA IS AUSTRALIA HENCH THE NAME AUSTRALIA AND WE DONT SHARE YOUR STEREOTYPICAL VIEWS ON AFRICAN-AMERICANS SO WHO ARE YOU TO TELL US THAT WE ARE BEING STEREOTYPICAL like geez GET OVER IT. Thanks

One other thing about that ad. When the Australian holding onto his bucket of chicken says "stuck in an awkward situation" this bucket of chicken holding Australian does not mean awkward as in its a awkward situation because he is one white man in a group of black man he means awkward because he is one suporter of the Australian team in a group of West Indies fans. I guess the retards in America failed to see this because hay dont we all have to share their stereotypical views because dont we all have to think like an American as they would like us to and this bullcrap fit they are having over our ad proves that.

I dont even get how saying African-Americans eat fryed chicken is racist like how does that even work. Thats just like saying its racist to say Australians eat meat pie's because we all know most Australians do enjoy a nice meat pie and me being one of them, AND we do enjoy KFC to. Are they just looking for a reason to have a cry or am i not seeing something here ???

Political correctness is an ideology worshipped by precious and egotistical limp-wristed would-be fascists who achieve little of productive worth bar engaging in banalities and trivial chatter, therefore the closest they can ever come to to achieving their fascist fantasies is by screwing with language and people's heads by employing guilt trips over unsubstantial things.

If an African-American's stereotypical diet is southern fried chicken, a German's is sauerkraut, a Irishman's is potatoes and an Aussie's is meat pies, who gives a stuff?

Going on a crusade to try and dispel those isn't going to solve anybody's poverty or raise their genuine happiness, and doing either would be beyond any PC showpony's capabilities or for that matter, genuine desire.

"Gee, I'm hungry and I wouldn't mind a meat pie at the moment but I'd better not just in case someone decides to stereotype me". If this was ever to happen it'd would be more likely than not the hypocritical PC crowd, by virtue of being a working-class "bogan", "redneck" etc with fair skin. Up their bums.

They were looking for a reason to have a cry by inventing grave injustices against African-Americans by the sharing of fried chicken with happy Jamaicans in a stupid KFC ad.

Yes, some people in Western society are just way too comfortably bored and under-utilised. They would've been more useful and less annoying working under Pol Pot.

Agreed. I am so sick of these people being "offended" by everything and anything. And these same people wonder why the rest of the world laughs at us! Hmmmmmm.
