Maryland's Gunpowder Falls was my first love as a trout river. I spent many days along that lovely little stream, chasing wild trout on weekends and evenings after work, and learning the ways of presentation and fly design.

Also gone are the ring neck pheasant, quail, rabbitts, grouse and white tail deer. Things taken for granted but gone. When was the last time you saw a quail in the wild.
