Heavy Rain Leads To Yazoo City Flooding

Wednesday morning's heavy rain led to waist-deep water covering some streets in Yazoo City, according to emergency officials.

The St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church located at 212 West Powell Street in Yazoo City, MS suffered water damage which left the church in a very bad state. The members were not able to conduct any of their regular services since the May 28th. Flood. The Church which is has a membership of approxiamtely 150 people have been forced to have their meetings: Sunday School, Morning Worship Service and any other meetings in a community facility. The cost of repairs has been estimated to be within the Hundred-Thousands of dollars. They really need help! If you are aware of a funding program that assist these people please contact Rev.
