This is ridiculous. Has killing babies and getting away with murder become a norm in the US? So they get charged with child neglect and concealment of a body. What kind of sentence will that bring? Slap on the wrist and a little probation time? We are talking about someone taking someones life here, where are all the anti-abortion people? This child was born, outside the womb, and instead of giving it proper care the mother of the baby sticks it in a trash can? Take some responsibility for your actions America. If you have sex and get pregnant, then "buck up" and raise the child, Both parents!

The anti abortion people only care about it while it's a fetus.

And apparently killing babies and getting away with murder IS becoming a norm in the US.

It's really disgusting.

OK, idiots, you don't know the parties involved, you have no clue what the circumstances were that made a heartbroken grandmother and a traumatized girl do what they did, so how about shutting up about it and stop the sanctimonious bullshit on the gossip site? Worry about keeping your own yards clean and stop instigating trouble. I'd say you have more than enough issues within your own families to write a book or two, so be careful how you judge someone else! Karma is a bitch, and you never know if you will be the next 'juicy topic' on here!

Yeah, well as long as people are killing innocent babies for ignorant reasons, then people will always have the right to be upset and defend the dead. It was medically proven that the baby was born alive. Even if it died naturally, which I doubt is the case, then they still should've alerted authorities. There are laws to protect mothers who abandon their babies at local churches, hospitals, and law enforcement facilities, so why didn't they protect their selfish selves and go that route? Well, doesn't matter now anyway. Just like you said, karma really is a bitch. I'll sleep well tonight knowing I will never have to answer to my Savior about why a baby died at my hands. Thank You God that You hold that precious angel with you tonight and everynight.

There are NO circumstances that make it acceptable to put a baby in a cave. There are NO circumstances that make it acceptable to carry a fetus to term, let it be born (in your bedroom), then watch it die. There are plenty of other options. I don't care what the "circumstances" were, what they did was NOT okay in any situation, and I hope they spend plenty of time in prison for it. Perhaps I'd believe they were heartbroken and traumatized if the baby had been stillborn, or if she'd gone to the hospital and something went wrong. She didn't. She let the baby be born in an unsanitary environment, and let it die. She wrapped it in a grocery bag, and her mother put it in a trashcan, then a cave. I don't feel bad for them at all.

Also, I live my life in such a way that there's absolutely nothing that even could make me the "next juicy topic" here, because I'm not an idiot. There's nothing to talk about. I'm boring.

So you admit you have nothing going on in your life interesting,so you get on a gossip site and stir up trouble...well, at least you're honest. The case has been heard, tried, and the parties have been sentenced. You can go on and say what you would have done if you were in their shoes, but that's mighty easy when you've never slipped them on, isn't it? The Bible says 'Judge not lest ye be judged' and yes, I was upset at what happened just like everyone else and prayed for ALL parties concerned. But I will not cast judgement upon those I do not know, and as a Christian it is my duty to let God take care of what needs to be done, and the law to punish them here on Earth. Gossiping about it on here does nothing for anyone, and if indeed you are a Christian, you know that.

Oh, I have plenty of things in my life that are interesting for me, just not interesting enough for other people to want to talk about. And I'm not 'stirring up trouble,' I'm talking about the case...which is the threads title. Believe it or not, that's kind of what this site is for.

Look, I don't have to slip on her shoes to know that I'd never have a baby in my room and let it die. If I didn't want it, I'd abort the pregnancy, and if I decided I didn't want it after it was too late for that, I'd put it up for adoption. It's not that complicated. And I guess it's a good thing I'm not a Christian, as that way, I can judge whoever I want and not feel guilty about it. I'm not gossiping, I'm stating my opinion. It's totally different.

Oh, so you're ok with her killing the baby, just as long as it's on your own terms. Well, here's a bit of information you might find interesting. Her father is a tyrant, and she hid the pregnancy from him for fear of him becoming physically violent with her and possibly harming her boyfriend. People she worked with knew she was pregnant and helped her keep the pregnancy secret from her father, they all knew of his temper and abusiveness. Her boyfriend and she were planning on getting away as soon as possible with the baby and making a life together, the baby was very much wanted by both of them. The baby came early, though, and she was trapped in the house with no way out, and was forced to deliver in silence alone in her room. From what I understand, yes, the baby took a breath or two, but there were complications and she was in a panic and did not know what to do. By the time her mother got to the house, the baby was deceased, and the girl was in tears. Yes, putting the body of the child in the cave was not smart, but they were at a loss as to what to do. When you have a tyrant in your midst, it makes a lot of difference, especially when you can't just pick up and go...ask any battered woman. The grandmother has been charged and punished for her mistake, and believe me the young woman is heartbroken from the conversations I have been told of from friends of hers.

This is why I say, don't be so quick to judge someone before you know the whole story. Hindsight is 20/20, and I'm sure if she had the opportunity to go back and do things differently she would. Let it rest.

I have many issues with your defense. The girl got pregnant; both her and her ďboyfriendĒ should have stepped up and taken responsibility. Who really cares about her father being a tyrant,(if he really is), itís called a door, walk out of it. Do you really think there are no places that will take in a pregnant child that is in danger of abuse? As for the mother and grandmother, they are just enablers for letting this man terrify this child, and for letting this girl have this baby in the situation she was in. Yes, hindsight is 20/20 but for nine months this girl was pregnant, how about a little forethought. Oh and Iím not gossiping, Iím stating my disgust for these people and the situation because Iím sick of hearing about all the excuses for killing innocent babies by people who just want to sleep around and not be ready for the consequences.

Her Father wasn't a tyrant. The only thing she was afraid of was that if he got upset he would stop paying for her Harley and her truck. That is all she was afraid of losing. She is a sick liar. She cannot tell the truth. She is just a selfish sick monster. Everything about this case is a lie, and they think they will get away with it. This is also not the first time the monster had been pregnant. They have done this before. They will all rot in a special place in hell.

First of all, I entirely agree with this. She had several months to do something. Even with little or no money, there are places that would help someone in her situation.

Second of all, NO, I'm not at all okay with her killing the baby. An abortion is removal of a cluster of cells, not killing anything. And honestly, in her situation, since she "couldn't get out of it," that may have been the best thing to do for her and the baby. If her father was that bad, and she'd had that baby and he found out and the baby had lived, do you really think it would have had a decent life? Or if he'd found out during the pregnancy and hit her, and it hurt or killed the baby? After it could feel pain. After she'd become quite attached to it. I'm pregnant myself, and if there were anyone in my life who I was really afraid to let find out I was pregnant, they wouldn't be in my life anymore.

You say don't be so quick to judge someone you don't know, yet you've already judged the girls father. Practice what you preach. THOSE WERE YOUR COMMENTS, just sayin.

I only know what I was told by those who know the family and the girl in question and her boyfriend. I haven't 'judged' him, I merely stated the girl's reasons for hiding her pregnancy (along with everyone else keeping it secret) from him. Her mother admitted to placing the baby in a cave, AFTER it had died. From what was told in court, the baby did take several breaths, but was not viable. This whole thing is a tragedy and I personally am done with talking about it.

You are sooo full of shit you know nothing about this case the Tyrant ship has sailed you dumb ass. No Jordan was NOT born early and there was nothing physicly wrong with her at birth. Ashley was NOT in tears according to her own mothers words she was calm. The fact is that still to this day the only regret that Ashley her self says she has is that her boyfriend (which was not the father of Jordan) will have nothing to do with her. That poor guy did want Jordan he thought she was his which turned out to be another lie on Ashleys part. You spout off your Christian bullshit just like Ashley and Twyla did when they went on to church like nothing happened. You are no better than them. If you actually took time out of your self rightious life to read the court transcripts you would know that they both claimed to the police different stories Ashley claimed that Jordan was alive when her mother told her that she would "take care of it" (and that is a QUOTE) Then Twyla told police and the court that Jordan was already dead the first time she ever seen her. Now everyone that "knows" Twyla knows that she will take the wrap for all of this to protect Ashley. I Hope They Both Get A Big Needle In Their Arm For What They Did To JORDAN
