If the Wood County DA office is overworked, why are they pursuing cruelty to animal charges against an individual who in fact was trying to protect a dog that died after the accused tried to protect the dog? Why was the dog cremated when an autopsy would have proved the accused's innonence?

Evidently the DA is more interested in trying to get convictions than serving the Justice system.
