She excelled in sports; was a loving daughter & was trying to survive classmate jealousy & bullying. May the parents of the bulliers realize their fault in refusing to work to stop it.

Do u know for sure the first child had headphones on? Even if he did, how could u not hear a train horn over the music? Or feel the vibrations in the track? And y the hell would u just walk down tracks like that not paying attention? It's so very sad! Sounds like that town may have some issues that the parents and teachers need to try and deal with! Cheyanne was a beautiful girl who had her whole life ahead of her! I did not know them well but it breaks my heart! Prayers going out to Buffy and the rest of her family!!

I'm impressed with your experience in walking down a train track wearing headphones (and, yes, witnesses said he was wearing them), while, like most teenagers, likely listening to loud music, and feeling these vibrations you are speaking of. Exactly how much experience DO YOU HAVE with feeling vibrations from on oncoming train behind you that was in the process of slowing down? I am saddened, first and foremost for the loss of these children, but I am almost equally saddened that people like you have to defile the deaths of teenagers that likely did the same thing you and I did: made not-so-great decisions. I didn't know these kids but for you to place judgement on how much vibration can be felt by a train approaching from behind - at a slowing speed - and how much energy is NOT absorbed by the rail ties and gravel bed amazes me. But then again, you may very well be a railway expert, or maybe you have formulated studies that have documented how much vibration a pedestrian will feel. I don't know... maybe you're just a moron for questioning what happened or, especially, defiling the memory of a child lost to a horrific accident. Either way, I feel sorry for you.

Wow! Calm down! It was just a question! I am very saddened by these young lives lost! I knew the girl and no she was being bullied! And I read where a witness said they THOUGHT he had headphones on but was not sure! can u imagine how upset that person had to have been after seeing this happen?!?! How could they b thinking clearly! Anyways maybe it was an accident. No one knows and never will! Just thought if it wasn't, that town of Alvord needs to do something! So that is y I questioned what happened! I don't want to see this happen to others! So, you need to get over yourself and don't judge me for being concerned!! Maybe you are the moron!!

Ok! Like I said I've heard different stories! I'm glad to know the first was not suicide! I'm not gonna sit here and argue about it! Two young innocent lives have been lost! Let's let them rest in peace! Sorry if I offended anyone! I did not mean to!
