This is interesting. If the TMB charged that Dr. A intimidated the witnesse by contacting the Sheriff's office to do an investigation, what charges can be brought against the rest of the people involved in this (Sheriff, CA and DA). Possibly misuse of Official Capacity, inquiring minds would like to know.

The Texas Board of Nursing needs to do an investigation of their own. I'm sure there were other nurses who were aware of what was happening in this case. Not reporting unethical, illegal or dangerous practices is a direct violation of the Nurse Practice Act and those nurses should be held accountable.
There are plenty of "Dr. Arafiles" out there, but until nurses do the right thing and report them to the medical board, they will continue to harm patients. It is OUR DUTY to protect and advocate for our patients.
God Bless the Winkler County Nurses and GOOD LUCK
