City Council members in Florence in northern Williamson County supported their police chief tonight on the heels of an incident last week where she shot dogs who were on their property.

If an officer approaches a house and feels threatened then they have a right to defend themselves. That is if they feel threatened not if you feel they were threatened. All animals should be secured so that the approach to your home is safe.
